He has the enthusiasm so why not get lessons. I'd teach him how to show off. People who give up say it's too hard. Your fingers must train to play slow before you play fast. Your fretting hand has muscles that can be trained. I had a student who just read tablature and had the enthusiasm to learn. He said I'm a bad teacher blah blah. Then in a month he saw improvements. Now he shreds. And I was so happy for him.

He had somebody record a solo piece because it was too clean to be Corey. Corey could spend 1000 dollars for 1 year of guitar instructor. He would be a shredder in no time. He just scared to practice. Solo are not that hard if you learn theory and how to play slow and clean. Then add metronome. People think it takes a lifetime to learn guitar it don't.
