Who is that absolute machine doing all that sweet fabrication?
@dc853374 күн бұрын
Ok - where is it going? Who bought it? How much is it worth? How much did it cost in materials? How much time did it take? (2 of those you did answer) We ALL want to know as you are on so much of a higher level that those of us on the lower rungs just can't fathom the answers to those questions.

Good stuff. i need something to trim up 0.9mm stainless sheets (8x4) for a wall cladding job. joints and edges will all be covered with joint strips and corners strips used, so shouldnt end up seeing any of the cut edges. would this makita tool be suitable? or would i be better with a metal blade in a circular saw? i suppose inevitably there will be some other intricate cuts as well as the longer straight cuts so maybe this tool would be more versatile. thx in advance

Yes that's correct, your drive wheels need to be u groved for aluminum. You could also use 5356 wire...its stiffer

I found you watching that guys series “coolest thing I ever built” and being a machinist/fabricator myself had to come and check your channel out! The whole time watching his episode on you I kept thinking how much you’ve gotta spend on tig rod, mig wire, shielding gases, oxy/acet, and all the other consumable supplies! Is it all out of pocket or do you get donations/sponsorships for the manufactures? Have you ever figured out how much in just those consumables you got in say the big game of thrones dragon? I’m just in awe man! Looking forward to watching all you vids and definitely subscribed! 👍👍

I had a welding teacher that built a big ass eagle. It was awsome. Its in front of some home for vetrens in nj now. I think edison.

Will you need to do something where wings slide together because of all of the welding to be done yet on the wings. They appear to be fairly close tolerances and welding could slightly warp them. I enjoy seeing this part of the sculpture. I’ve learned a lot from watching. Thanks

Awesome sculpture, but what are you talking about with the issues? The manual explains everything you're having issues with and what you're doing wrong. That red lever, right behind the rollers, releases the tension and the wire slides right in. Release the lever. Adjust the tension with a small flathead right above the rollers, on top of the spoolgun. Done

Wrong….don’t move the wheels…just straighten the wire and it will feed through. The liner is a PTE material so it will feed smoothly …..read your instructions manual. Change your tips with every spool….Miller makes great stuff learn your machine and spool gun.

Check out Evolution 14 inch chop saws. Dry cut . No spark blowout. Clean accurate cuts. Cuts faster than abrasive disc cutters and cut metal stays cool. Also check out their cutting table. I have saw and table for 3 years.
