There has been geological evidence (by independent groups) from 1984 and until 2017 (even more recent could be there) which reveal a wide paleo channel (8 km wide) containing the current Ghaggar-Hakra river. Cores from five locations across the basin reveal the presence of this basin until 20000 BCE. Yet, Prof. Habib states ‘… Saraswati, a minor tributary of the Ghaggar river…’ If he really is the eminent historian who himself claims that history is based on facts.. then it’s conclusive to say that he is a liar.
