I love the foils personally. Even double sleeving them in precision fit sleeves flattens them out a bit. But they are great looking cards! I also play with them if I have the option.

Makes enough sense. People seem to be pulling toward the blue side of it. I really like it in yellow though but I’ll have to test out the blue list at some point for sure!

Lightsabers are probably so high for Anakin blue like you said, it's a super integral part of the deck, similar to Kylo making fallen lightsaber like $8 that one time. Idk why they're still so much though. Might have to pick up a box of Twilight for $70 if these legendaries stay this high

I guess people like the ani blue. Not my preferred color but it seems to have some tops to back it up. Honestly surprised the legendaries doing this well though it might actually sell at a profit for boxes!

I think Now There Are Two of Them is super over priced dude. It’s an exciting card, but people are starting to realize that 2 for 1-ing yourself sounds good. But it’s not for all decks. You aren’t left much in your hand and your find yourself top decking really quickly, even faster if they have hand removal like Spark, Bodhi, or any of the new card removals. Kinda like how Kyrat was super high but people realized it wasn’t the end all be all.

While I agree somewhat that it is very average in some cases. There are enough times where it will completely blow a game out of the water and even if it doesn’t you just play the game like it’s not there. It’s high payoff with minimal risk a good chunk of the time. It definitely doesn’t fit in all decks. But most of them that do use it use it well.

Ran jango TT at locals tonight, deck is hot. Also if you go the starter deck single route, can usually get them for $30, so selling the 24 starter cards at just over a buck each will break you even. Honestly might be the move

Partially yes. I know my local store ordered a bunch because of how it’s been before and they filled the entire order lol. However I also think a big majority of the good cards in this set are low rarity so there’s only a few valuable legendaries which is generally where the value is.

The price of cards definitely seem extremely low. What are your thoughts on Boba being banned from a tourney?

Yah it’s pretty bad lol. I think it’s good and bad. Boba was definitely overtuned however I think this will just invite a new cycle of something else being overpowered and the community calling for a ban. Sabine popularity will sky rocket but it has more counters then boba did. Guess we will see how it pans out. I’m just looking forward to new stuff popping up!

@ I think the only semi expensive “boba card” is firespray and that’s cheap ish. Boba unit already was sort of getting dropped but I still think as a stand alone card it’s good. This set I think has worse legendaries as a whole then the last set so I wouldn’t be surprised if value wise this does worse then shadows. At least shadows had Poe krayt darksaber snoke etc. this one has some decent ones but mostly some underwhelming legends in my opinion. I think the rares and uncommons in this set are really good though but those generally won’t hold financial value

@@papastones Set one was a solid foundation, so far the expansions just give cards to slot into existing decks, most of the good ones common or uncommon. Players have been fading away as well, with one local FLGS attendance down to ZERO... I hope this ban brings more players back into the game, we need more interest.

I think capture is just a bad mechanic most of the time lol. I tried it out with jabba leader and Dryden comboing with him and even then it didn’t feel great. I do think cads a solid card though

tarfful COULD have possibilities with some of the new cards: - Yoda leader to pitch the high cost cards on deploy - Planetary Invasion could be a good finisher in a wookie build, but you would need a few weenies to exploit. Not sure it works - Satine Kryze could make wookie tribal into a mill deck - Now there are two of them ??? - "I have the hhigh ground" could be good on the sentinel wookiees

Not necessarily. I think the growth has slowed down and a lot of people’s having this as their first tcg then seeing how stagnant a competitive meta will get definitely drives people away. I think the game will continue to grow though. I’m definitely hopeful because it’s a sweet game

prices would continue to go down esp when set1 reprint comes out, they started strong but set2 and set3 are not that great, only a handful of Legendary and Leaders are worth it in both sets

Boba Green being good doesn't really surprise me, but if you recall, Boba Green was good in set 1 meta until decks like Krenic Green and Vader Green came out to beat it. I would suspct something very similar will happen here. This deck will be everywhere for the next few weeks until it is solved and declines once again. IMO.

@@patrickl.menard3301 I think the game will continue to develop. It’s still early on its in lifespan hopefully and will continue to grow. The big 3 card games have been around 20+ years so I think it’ll take time but I have high hopes!

The store dont have pack anymore of set 2 and cannot have enought singles because players keep them. I just wish : seal or draft for the 4th set. Many people on facebook have booster box at 200$+ CND but i dont want expensive box, we just want singles :(. Sorry my english

It seems like a lot of people are unloading their collections because they think the game value peaked and they want to extract their funds to pay for Altered. So long as the game continues to be fun and be played in stores the game will bottom out and start to grow back up - but the artificial high prices due to the scarcity is likely going to reverse and we'll see lower prices going forward - 20 dollar good legendaries.

It’s hard to say I don’t think the games losing popularity I just think it’s a mix of not a huge influx of new players mixed with the fact that a lot of the set 2 cards we’re realistically not great and also there was no real “product shortage” which is not a bad thing. I definitely wouldn’t be worrying about the game going downhill if that’s a concern
