"Style of Vintage Culture"? This pr*ck is the biggest market scam in Brazil together with Alok. Both made their career using ghost producers and releasing 'Bootlegs' as 'Original Mixes'. Please rest of the world, WAKE THE F*CK UP!!! François is a legend tho.. Huge admirer since 2016 here.

When creating and layering basses, should sidechain be on or off? Which one makes sense? I'd appreciate it if you could answer.
@francoispml6 күн бұрын
Hi, in general I'd say it depends on the context of the other elements (Kick, length of kick, what else is being played in the range). But you could sidechain your lowest bass layer harder (to make room for the kick), and layers that are higher up can be sidechained softer and softer.

Why do you guys only make Commerical tracks these days? getting boring
@francoispml18 күн бұрын
Good question, I'd say in my view its pretty balanced between underground and more popular stuff, and it's not like every video is covering Calvin Harris or David Guetta. Just recently I've done a video on Meera (MEERA (NO), Tripolism | Ableton | Producer Notes 034) and I think this is a super cool, interesting, yet quite underground style. I guess the question is: How do you define "commercial"?

Here's my problem (the reason I don't want to buy this) because if you compare the youtube video's "quality" or "feel" it punches & bites much more than the preview file has on the official PML site I don't know if it just me but I feel like what he shows in the youtube session sounds way better than the availabe for buy project just compare them I hear a significant difference between them
@francoispml25 күн бұрын
Hey, interesting it feels like that to you. All I can say is it's the exact same source audio information. The only difference I could imagine is in the rendering. The demo on the website is the exported audio directly from Ableton. Whereas the sound here in the KZbin video is the output of the screen recording into a video file which then through uploading & processing has gotten compressed by some algorithm on KZbin's end. The difference however should be miniscule. Can you post an exact timestamp of a moment where you hear a big difference and describe what exactly you hear differently?
