One of my favorite locations from EB, the lab could've been eerie the way the lab of mother 3 is but this feels welcoming and warm. Immediate nostalgic feelings on the initial listen and just as much now.

If I can give some constructive criticism, this is really well done, but the Pokémon cries are really distracting. They're used way too often and interrupt the music itself for me. It would be a perfect version of this song when you hear them every five seconds? Will you be doing a version with no Pokémon cries as it's hard to sleep when I get jumpscared by Heracross blaring in my ears every five seconds?

Sounds weird, almost like mono ps1 sound quality 🤔 Also, that's not a save room in the image, it's the 2nd floor waiting room. Strange ambient sounds too.

But that is also a save room. It has a typewriter in it. At least in the original RE2.

I still remember seeing DKC and this game for the first time as a kid, the graphics were just insane. I was blown away by how detailed the animations were. The sounds in this game and the OST overall were absolutely sublime, this and Aquatic Ambience will forever stand as some of the absolute greatest in the industry. They’re nostalgic to the max, and crazily enough it’s true of younger players I’ve introduced to this stuff.
