Beastie Boys was and still is a favorite. I really appreciated your expertise with the hiphop genre. Stray Kids have a lot more for you to explore within that genre. This gonna be long but bear with me. After listening to all 3 songs side by side, I do hear the similarity of the beat at the beginning of hustlang all day. However, I do not think that it is a "copy". It's different when you say it's a copy when it comes to music even though it's kinda is when you're looking at it literally. The word copy carries heavy weight as far as music plagiarism is concern. The song has enough variety in beat and melody that I don't think it is a direct copy while still in the paint has the same beat as hard in da paint all throughout the song. I don't claim to know the behind the scene and how the show works but it is a produced show. It is reasonable to believe that all songs must go through many copyright screening as far as the beats and samples. In this season, they didn't even air someone's rap in an 8 bars segment because of that person's licensing contract with a different company. Also, they are partnering up with Warner Music Vietnam, which is part of Warner Music Groups, for recording and distribution, and I would assume that those people take copyrights seriously. After some research, hard in da paint is being distributed/license by Warner Records Inc., which is also part of Warner Music Groups. This is my guess but I think Warner Music Group have a collection of songs/samples/beats that the show can use to make music. It's only logical to think so. The music group even brought Changmo to Vietnam and let the show air his music so why not let the show use their library to make music that they can also profit off of. Even if it past all of the screening process, the beat wasn't made by Robber. It was produced by Masew and Hipz. Since they're big long time music producers, I would hope that they know sampling and copyright instead of straight copying. Might be unrelated, but most of the process of making the song has also been documented by B Ray team. They had camera rolling whenever they meet up together to work on the song. (제작기에서 풀어주기론 방찬이 인트로와 엔딩에 들어간 휘파람 소리를 추가했다네요. 귀를 끄는 효과음 넣는 걸 되게 좋아하는 것 같아요ㅋㅋ) 말씀하신 내용 중에 인트로라는 앨범 제작기 영상에서 정보를 공개한게 있는데 원래는 더 하드한 가사와 분위기였는데 좀 순화된거래요ㅋㅋ 아무래도 아이돌이다보니 더 막나가지 못한 부분이겠죠. 몇 년 지나서 대중 눈치 덜 보게 되면 더 재미있는 음악 만들것 같아요ㅋㅋㅋ 프로듀싱한 멤버들도 붐뱁 장르는 요즘엔 올드하게 생각해서 그걸 올드하지 않게 푸는데 고민을 많이 했다고 했고- 락 느낌이 많이 나는 건 이 곡을 만든 한이 걍 락을 좋아해서... ㅋㅋㅋ 인듯합니다. 이번 음반에 실린 한의 솔로곡도 멤버 중 유일하게 락 느낌이 강하고요. 개인적으로 작업해서 올리는 곡들도 락 느낌이 많더라고요. 초기 곡들은 좀 어설프고 풋풋한 편인데 쓰리라차 프로듀싱 능력이나 주요 랩멤버인 창빈-한의 실력이 많이 좋아진 것 같아 담 정규가 더 기대되는 것 같아요.
