So I'm not the only guy that get the wrong parts sent 😮💨🤫😅! The pump in the jack is low on hydraulic fluid, but more likely it's bypassing and the next thing they do will fail when you're lifting something important, so replace it for the sake of safety.

@teddydaniels hey Teddy thanks for watching! The website has more explanations too but there's any where from 12-16 groups all divided up into categories. From Extreme all the way to cruising. They did get renamed this year so I would have to see what group I was in. But the driving portions vary from doing your typical cruising around following the person in front of you to where they will.open it up.and next thing you know you're flying by at 100.mph lol. Watch my older videos too as it really gives you an idea.of what to expect. Ill.see you next June!

@throttletribevn if you watched my previous video I actually talk about it. But, once I get the front bumper back from getting PPF I'll have to try and make more adjustments. It's not as bad as you think

I saw someone with a 2.0 Cayman that had this same thing going on, he thought he had an oil leak at first and then found it to be the clamp. I'm thinking that during production of the half shafts they are not crimping the clamps as much as is required. You have to be careful not to tighten them too much, as the band can cut the boot. Best to check the other 6 clamps to see if they are a touch loose. Nice tool for those O-clamps you used, I just have the pliers made for doing the installation.

@warrenlucier5796 yeah, pretty common from what I'm hearing from other guys recently. I mean if you look at where it's crimped..they just need to crimp it just a little bit more

Can you tell us what parts you had to get for the rear panels in order to fit the 718 tail lights and bumper? I kinda want to convert only the rear of my 981 GTS while keep the cool GTS bumper in the front

Yes! checkout my recent Rennsport Dragon Rally video where we do another run in his GT3. We also at the end of the video get a chance to do the same thing but in a GT3RS! Insanely good!

Those wheels are form and function all in one package. Use a plumb line from the fender lip at the centerline of the hubs, to see the clearance you have better, to be sure there will be no rub with the new setup.

I didn't video this but I did add the 7mm spacers back on. looks good now with no rubbing. I will be adding a spacer in the back...probably a 7mm as well but that'll probably be done next year

Someone on Rennlist mentioned they stuck a cork in that hole, lol. I would like to disable mine, thinking pulling fuse would be the least intrusive. Will have to look up which one it is.

Looks really great and I'm sure you'll get the blue CF accents worked out. If I remember correctly the doors and rear hatch are all aluminum on your car, so weight savings already done. Finding aluminum doors ( Cayman R & GT3 RS) for my gen 2 987 or CF doors that are racing only aren't going to happen or a rear hatch.

@@lsturbointeg It's been awhile since I saw a video where they showed and gave the composite makeup of the doors. I'm a PCA member and it may have been there that I saw it in one of their videos. My recollection is they are a combination/composite carbon fiber, Kevlar and hemp weaves and the weave was dull.

One other comment about the GT4RS intake system. There is an outfit in Europe called Gold Leaf that now produces an all carbon GT4RS intake system that works with the 981 plenum and throttle body. It's quite a beautiful piece of engineering and fabrication.

Matt, did you cut the slots for the GT4 wing risers into the 981 tail lid? How bout the other assess holes, etc to mount those wing risers such as the side holes and internal brackets for the screws?

@apolloandratti7922 oh man those rides were amazing! The sound really makes a difference but to choose...GT3 Dundon Motorsports exhaust sounds amazing! Followed by the GT4RS Soul Performance Race setup but I think it ties with the GT3RS with Soul Performance as well👌

@Bon-mz5kb I went with the 200 cel in the beginning. Buddy of mine gave me his SOUL PERFORMANCE test pipe so I have that sitting in my garage. I have the Fab mini pipe for the O2 sensor but was told to get a tune 1st to help prevent boost spike. Probably won't get that done til.next year
