YOU DONT NEED TO DO THIS. For others who have this you can just rapidly open and close the opening and it will suck in air via the laws of fluid dynamics. Also look up Bernoulli's Principle and you will see examples.

I've been trying to figure this stupid thing out since 4 pm, it's 7:24 now. I've walked away several times. My dumb arse started out looking for where to put the dang electric pump in,😮 I tried severely openings. Now I come here! another recommendation: hold it against the ground, with the flat bands on the floor, and flap one of the openings open and closed. it will inflate with air.
