Maybe they'll catch up to pse? They do need a better tuning system

I wonder how much difference there is between Rx-9 and rx-5? I love my rx-5 but I do have some issues tuning a fixed blade broadhead. I didn’t have any problems with my spider tuning broadheads. I’m not sure why they are off at 40plus yards.

Conclusion; We don’t need 700 grain arrows with 27.5% FOC to kill a 150 pound whitetail folks. If you do this with your compound you’re handicapping yourself.

I keep a small rasp or file in my field bag. Humidity can cause swelling, especially in freshly installed d loops. If you notice this issue while you are in the stand and you dont have any loop string with you, a quick filing down of the knock can be the difference between failure and success.

I saw this video, months ago. I kept on shooting with my left eye closed. I finally tried this today, and my groups tightened up immediately. With 2 eyes open, you get a much clearer view of your pins relative to the target. I was amazed. Thanks, Dud, for putting these videos out to the community

I'm left dominate but right handed, never new that was a thing intel someone told me,I've been closing my left eye for so long I didn't know any difference. I'm so used to it it doesn't effect me.i do tend to shoot left everytime so now I will work in that.

So apparently this guy's now being paid well $$$$$ to hawk Hoyt now ? This is the problem in America..... Greed ! There is not a single bow worth any of this. Crossbows are nowhere near worth their asking price either. This is what's destroying America... Corporations that just can't get enough $$$$ and they'll lie to get it .. half truths and misdirections just get worse and worse.... GREED IS DESTROYING THIS COUNTRY. STOP BUYING THIS $HIT !

I just shoot my hunting bow for fun and practice everyday . Me and my wife both do this. I average 150 to 200 shots an afternoon. I bowfished for years in tournaments etc and would shoot a lot each night in those. I picked up bowhunting and got a bow this year. So I went about learning how to shoot with sights and accuracy I did it the same way I learned bowfishing with just making lots of shots and practice.

Never watched anything of John but honestly I don’t like how he’s handling this interview. It seems like he came into it having talked to buddies who had a twisted idea of who Troy was and he was just scoffing the whole interview and acting arrogant. John may know a lot about archery and hunting, cool, but it seems like he needs to learn that he isn’t right about everything and maybe start asking questions and testing beyond what he already knows before he starts saying that “people are going down the wrong path with certain info” Not willing to change or learn something is going to create stagnaiety. I’ll check out some more of his videos on bow tuning, but I do not agree with his refusal to understand certain arrows.

John, three weeks ago I bought a Nock 2 it release. I am working through the learning curve, but I am very pleased with the release, and the instructional videos that that go with it. For $255.00 I received a release that I very happy with. By comparison, in September I contacted Vortex for a replacement cover for my range finder battery compartment. When my free replacement arrived, it came with a very nice hat. If you tossed in a 50 cent sticker with a $255 release I would have it on my truck right now telling people I use your product. Great job on all of your videos, thanks for your efforts.

I went to PSE because of Dudley and their new (then) E2C cams. I bought the EVO EVL 34” and the next year I also bought the Mach 34. I was having shoulder issues that was threatening my ability to keep shooting. Those issues were alleviated by moving from Hoyt to PSE with the so-called “easy” cams. As an older guy shooting just under 65 lbs, I’ll be staying where I’m at. Sorry Dud. I wish you all the best in your archery endeavours.

The sport needs more of this honesty. Im 56 and have been archery hunting/shooting since my teens in the mid 80's. Hands down i was a far better shooter back then with the most basic equipment i could afford. As long as we did a quick "tune" so you had decent arrow flight thats all you worried about. I practiced with easton game getters for cost and hunted with xx75 autumn orange. Like dud said id shoot hundreds of arrows a day fingers no less until they were numb. My father would holler at me cause i was in the yard shooting in the dark with a flashlight on a brick pointing up at the target. My friends hated to practice with me because id wait till they shot then shot at their nocks needless to say there was a lot of crying and arrow breakage going on. 😂😂😂 By no means am i knocking todays equipment or archery shop youtubers but its more or a marketing ploy than anything these days. They need to fill your head with reasons to buy a $2000 rig and spend countless hours trying to find the illusional magical perfect arrow fight. I still have 30+ year old bows i can grab and knock bullseye all day with, yes they are slower, noisier and not as sexy as my new stuff but in the end x's are x's and dead deer are dead deer. 😊
