Great Vlog, I was a conductor at Lime St for 19 years before coming a driver but I can remember when I first started in 93 the station having a ticket office only open mornings but it got closed just after 94ish. Even back then you were lucky to get 3 to 5 passengers on then going to work at the refinery. I remember pulling into station before this called ince and Elton and there being a tent on the platform it was about 6ish in the morning. Feller looked out and saying” he thought station was abandoned”🤣🤣🤣

The reason is because you don't want the electric current to arc, you want it to be either on or off not somewhere between otherwise it could damage equipment.
