I enjoyed a lot working on this pattern! Thanks so much!! Could you please make a tutorial of this ZigZag pattern but thicker? Like, using 14 strands instead of 10? That will be great!
@Craftanatic12 күн бұрын
I’ll try to do some research on thicker zigzag patterns! This one could really use an upgrade 😊

Any chance you can explain how you started this bracelet? I've tried starting from a knot and from a triangle end start and neither give me those nice straight angles that make it look braided and the heart shape clear 😢

@Craftanatic is correct tension how to make the sides straight?
@CraftanaticАй бұрын
It helps a lot, but some patterns have knotting structures that are just more prone to being finicky to work with 😕
@gypsy4g2 ай бұрын
how long should the strings be? I cut 65" of each color so then when I folded them they are now 33" each side, but I ran short and couldn't finish it. Anyone have a dimension they used ? Thank you!

I am curious, is there a way to do this so only the rainbow heart in the center shows and the rest is a solid color, like black? I am trying to get back into making bracelets as it has been decades, and thought this would be fun, but my brain is not mathing right for the idea in my head haha
@Craftanatic2 ай бұрын
To be honest I’m not really sure if it’s possible with the way the knotting structure is set up! I wonder if the creator has a version of this pattern with full black hearts 😯

How long is the red thread?
@Craftanatic3 ай бұрын
I probably only measured 12-24 inches- since they’re just base strands they don’t need to be super long

How do you keep your clip board from not moving? I have a clip board but when i use it on the table my clip board moves all over
@Craftanatic3 ай бұрын
Usually when I make bracelets I’ll have the clipboard kind of balancing at an angle on the edge of my desk if that makes sense, or I typically have the clipboard in my lap (very bad posture lol). But just recently I bought non slip pads that you can stick on the bottom of furniture, and I stuck them in all four corners of the bottom of the clipboard so it doesn’t move at all when I have it flat on my desk 😃

@Craftanatic awesome!! Thank you so much that all helps out a lot.. I love your videos, they're so easy to follow. I'm disabled so I decided to take up making bracelets lol

Can you do this with less string so that is thinner?? I didn't know if you had to have an odd number or even.. if that makes sense lol
@Craftanatic3 ай бұрын
I haven’t tried it myself, but I think you could as long as you include a black string per color as well!

How would I start it from a loop as the start? Like I folded the strings in half, did forward backward knots to make a loop. Now I’m trying to start it and it’s looking like a knot mess!
@Craftanatic4 ай бұрын
Since this pattern doesn’t mirror, doing just a threaded/teardrop loop unfortunately won’t work (unless you do some extra complicated things to make it work😅). I’d recommend making the threaded loop, tying all the strings together into one group with a square knot, then looking into triangle ends and starting the bracelet that way!
@LaurenL-d5514 ай бұрын
So is the normal way to start it is by just tying a normal knot at the top of all the strings ?
@LaurenL-d5514 ай бұрын
Can you explain how to “end” the bracelet?
@Craftanatic4 ай бұрын
It really depends on the pattern but for this one I’d recommend triangle ends 🙂 kzbin.infoma1MV3C2BKc?si=rj_g0kuvN43WxEkb
