Can someone further explain what he means at 2:20 where he talks about the kick not affecting the compression as much? I use fl studio so a little unsure on his wording here. Is he saying the kick isnt' getting compressed and that the compressor is just using it's sidechain signal?

Super dope that the ceo is making music . An all around creative . So many beginners and people feeling stuck creatively will appreciate this hour long video because it’s in depth and shows the full process .
