False advertising. They only manufacture tanks for certain vehicles. Otherwise you’re left with a cheap 15 in bed auxiliary tank.

Yeah but on the inside of the fuel tank there is a clip on the fuel transfer hose. How in the heck do you remove that one? 2011 gt

I’m here to tell people that may be considering this tank. I just installed it. They completely breeze over how the plugs and hoses come off of the fuel hat. I’d recommend finding a video so you can understand how that works. Took me over an hour to get the three things unplugged.

Great video, had a 60 gallon titan tank installed in my super duty and the shop didn’t put the hose on right and caused air to be sucked into tank. Make sure to give lines a tug to make sure they are connected.

I installed (2) 50 gallon in truck bed

Good to know this is also an option for the EcoDiesel JL since the tank is smaller and there is not a good option for adding an aux tank.

Will the level still show correctly on the fuel gauge and will the DTE still be calculated correctly or is there more to do for that.

This worked perfectly on my 2004 Ford Ranger! I thought I was going to have to buy a tool and wait for 2 days to get it but I got my 8-pound sledgehammer and smashed that ring back on!! haha!

Is there a difference between the blue clip and yellow one ? We bought 2 yellow because that’s all we can find and the one where the blue clip was keeps leaking, we bought a total of 3 yellow and all leak where the blue one originally went

in sure this has been thought og but why not extend the factory fuel return to the aux tank and then got from the aux tank to the return of the main tank, that way you would have no cutting and a aux tank

Even with upgraded rear hinges, it’ll be hard pressed to carry a 37+ tire and 12 gallons on fuel (72 pounds). Thats about an extra 100-110 pounds over just a 33 inch tire.
