These old OSTs were so much in line with the original Diablo 2 dark vision. The new soundtrack is too much focused on epic choir and orchestra and has lost touch with that original spirit. Truly a shame.

Compare the whole Piety and Dominus setup with Kitava, the Shaper or the Maven, it's such a big quality drop! I still like PoE, but back in the day GGG was really creating art, they were hungry!

Such a good soundtrack. I cant believe this is gone from the game. What amazes me is that whoever produced this music is soo selfish that they would let this die. Why on earth didnt ggg renew the license with these guys? Oh because they needed to save money.

Beacuse the composer used copyrighted stuffs to make the music. It had to be terminated.

@rainogh6440 listen to "to victory" track from the movie 300. The female vocal that shows up mid track is the basis of this song. And I believe the old main theme borrowed elements from "Rachel found dead" from the movie enemy of the state

Just killed this boss and it really surprised me how electronic/industrial this theme was, the game didn't have any music like this before this boss. Sometimes it sounds like something from a Devil May Cry game, amazing!

10 years later and I'm upvoting ♥ I'm so glad I downloaded the entire album during Legacy League! I listen to it sometimes when I play PoE nowadays. Never fails to give me chills!

I started playing poe in the open beta back in the day, this was the stand out track to me, i still listen to it every now and then to this day, absolutely incredible, the atmosphere, you feel like you are there.... wow
