tysm this video made the oil change on my Baja racer really easy, i got it for only 25 dollars at a garage sale and I have spent about 170 dollars in parts, i want to try and find a good predator 212 or Honda gx200 to put on it, I think the original engine on mine is leaking oil from the oil seal, you should do a vid on how replace those, also the throttle is sticking and it is a tiny bit stiff, I recommend doing a vid on those too, you are the best since no one else does tutorials on those old bikes since baja motorsports went out of business a while ago.

Unfortunately the TCs TRD shift knob is discontinued and really expensive second hand to find, also I’m with you on the base base model radio 😂

I personally have the ScT10002U pioneer head unit and it's pretty unit and it's pretty dope. Can come around them pretty cheap from junked ones and ebay. You might as well get the ones that come on the 2014 model and up

My '14 tC came with that last radio with the full screen, its actually really nice since it came with GPS, but the map on the thing is outdated from like 2007 so I wouldn't trust it too much IF you ever do plan to get that specific radio for some reason, it would be cool if you could do a video on how to update the map or something, i know its possible on some cars with GPS but no idea if the tC lets you mess with the GPS data

i got a question. Can i just take out the dip stick and hold the bike upside down snd let it drain or do i have to undo that bolt?

I tried this process myself with oem 2014 lights with the 2014 harness. You only need to do the spacer thing with 2011 lights with the left side when using oem 2014 parts car tailights + harness. Otherwise the 2014 light on the right side is plug and play. on the left side the only thing that does not work are the running lights. Edit: It was just a bad bulb it turns out. I would heavily suggest to try to go for oem wire harnesses and bulbs for the 2014 taillights. Hopefully get them used all together like I did.

No need to rent that tool. To push the caliper piston back in, just use your rachet handle and an extension with a caliper piston cube (Google search or Amazon search will find one). Cheap, easy, and in my opinion, perfect.

Is there a way to compress the forks to make them a bit shorter ?

i have a '97 400 and i love it but finding someone to work on it is a lil hard cuz its such a unique engine and the amount of space in the engine bay is limited but i love my car excited to see where it takes me

I first saw one of these SC400s up close back in 1999 when i was like 19 or 20. My friend's dad had the 99 gold package with some purple pearl paint. It was always garaged and never seen rain. I hope to own a clean 93, 94 or 95 so i can work my magic on it. 😎
