how in the world they thought it would be a good idea to add those stupid sound effects is beyond me - they are hot garbage. i got the pink switches and i will say that they sound really good and the quality of the keyboard is great, but don't expect much communication from the company if you have any issues with shipping or whatever. they didn't even send me an order confirmation when i made my purchase so i was left in the dark for 4 weeks on where the heck this thing was at.

Hey @samhitech How did you get yours to remember your lighting settings. the only way I can keep mine is if I stay on the preview tab, but when I go to win set tab I can do anything

For the lighting settings, you can create your own LE file. Then, go to the Lamp Settings tab. You'll notice that the keyboard only has a few options uploaded. Change these options to your preference. Remember, the keyboard needs to be connected in wired mode, but if you want to use it wirelessly, make sure the mode toggle is set to wireless.

@samhitech ya I had to download the newest version that was not on their website (had to download one from their website then click the 6+ symbol in the top left corner of the app to be taken to the website) to be able to turn on the option for custom LE Files. And also learned you have to add whatever lighting effect you want to the lamp effects list. The preview tab just seems completely pointless and is where I was getting completely confused at first 🤣 they don't really have a tutorial for how to do things within their app. Think you could make a walk through for people? For both the keyboard app and the screen app.

okay soooo i got this keyboard (with the non-silent glacier switches) before seeing this video. Just came here to get a couple of things ironed out in the menu. i will say this. OH MY GODDDDDDD the quality of this keyboard is absolutely unreal. feels wayyy more expensive than it is. if youre on the fence, just buy it.

Heads-up, gifs don't abide by the "play interval" rule. If you want a 10 second gif, you need to make sure it's 10 seconds, otherwise it will move on to the next one as soon as the previous one finishes going. It would be nice if we could pick a particular gif and just have it animate that until we get bored of it and move on to another from the settings. I also find the auto power-off happens way too soon, and having to wait for the keyboard to power back up and connect so I can start typing again is kind of annoying. Mine does it even when it's plugged in via USB...

I bought this keyboard and I can't turn off the key noise... It's really annoying!!! The build quality is good, but the software download was not simple, as their site is only in Chinese and the Driver software on the manual card is not the correct software. If I use the Fn + ~ combo I can switch between the different mini screen options, but if I hold the combo for 3 seconds I do not see a menu option like you see. My mini screen goes blank, but if I press the combo again I go back to the regular images. I'm not sure what the solution might be. I may try their customer support and see if they can help.

Make sure to remove the screen and connect it via a usb-c cable.

@@Bigdude0444 I think it is related to using the recommended gif size nad number of frames maybe. Also in some apps you can specify the delay between frames (framerate) before exporting the gif. Hope this helps.

I had the same issue! Here’s what worked for me: 1. Unplug the monitor from the keyboard and connect it using a USB-C cable. 2. Download the screen tool app called 'GMonitor_2.0 V2.0.0.1' from their website. 3. Use the app to upload JPEG images to your monitor. Hope this helps!

I took a gamble. I got the Sea Blues hoping for some clicky clicky. Instead I got quiet switches with a tactile bump. I used some Cherry Browns a while ago, so I can't remember exactly what they were like - but I think these ones are pretty close. They do feel a bit heavy though, like they require a bit more force than I'm used to using but it works out well for me because I'm a heavy typer lol

Their customization options are very vague, I don't really see any information on what is what. Even with the keyboard themes if you click on a specific one it doesn't pull-up the corresponding picture so it may be best to e-mail them for confirmation on what is what. Not sure why that's not just posted on their product page though...

I emailed them weeks ago and never heard back. I've seen a few comments on reviews of their keyboards that all kinda say the same. I suspect the reviewers are getting a special level of service to help promote the boards. FWIW I got my keeb in the mail today and it's really nice... I'm just hoping it's as durable as it feels

You'd have to write an email before ordering just to confirm, then include the same notes in the order. Just to be safe, they have a customization guide, follow it.

They have some wired only keyboards that supports QMK/VIA as I remember the GK87 Pro is available with such an option. You can always check with them they might provide you with a custom solution.

Is it possible to assign something to the upper right screen of the calculator? For example, processor temperature And it turns out that all the buttons are programmed here, even two spaces separately?

I do not think so, try to contact their support for more info, but that would be neat. Unfortunately this screen is an old school LCD with a predefined pattern, not much to customize. Yeah the split-spacebar has two switches and everything is programmable with their GK6+ software.

@@stephankerforde386 I see maybe it was not clearly stated in the video, they keyboard is custom ordered and the kit/keyboard came with the Glacier silent switches from SkyLoong without extra cost. I just asked them to replace KTT with Glacier. I hope this clears your confusion.

- Mind you have to pay some 20-30 bucks for customs/import tax to SkyLoong when checking out your cart. - In my opinion it is possible, I think the gaming tag spam added to many peripherals skyrocketed their price. Being hot-swappable or programmable shouldn't equal a premium price tag. Also you are buying directly from the producer not from a retailer.

Do you guys offer "clicky" switches like Cherry Blue? I got my board today with the Sea Blue switches. I had no idea what I was in for, but I have no complaints loi. Sure there's no clicky-clicky, but the tactile bump is nice and the keyboard naturally sounds really nice, too. Maybe the best mistake I've ever made hahahaha

@@skyloong Thanks! I wasn't too sure what the default selection of switches were. I'm actually really happy with the Sea Blues. They're kinda like Cherry Browns, and this keyboard sounds great without the extra clicky-clicky haha. I have some blue switches kicking around here, but if one of the selectable switches is clicky, it would be good to know so I can recommend it to others who absolutely want that clicky sound haha
