Confusion about starting positions after shuffling checkers can be eliminated with the touch move rule: After making a legal move with a checker, one cannot move it back to its original position.

Moshi is a professional player but he doesn't have good dice which is why he loses.

So lovely to see the difference in play comparing to the beginner level I hang out with. Especially when they aren't afraid to leave blots. Also beautiful checkers if anyone can confirm if this is gammon board or not I'm interested.

I like how Hideaki plays BG, I think he's the only player who don't move the checkers 100 times back and forth. He plays BG like chess, respect...

Alex we need help with getting a bg club closer to me in Whittier / San Gabriel Valley as the only 2 are way down in South Orange country and way far away in the San Fernando Valley with nothing in between closer to North Orange County ( Anaheim / Certified / Norwalk / Whittier / Brea etc...). Amy ideas how we can get this to happen, it's not cost effective for me to drive so far especially when I'm unemployed and disabled unable to work.

My recommendation to remi to help people learn the cube is to send email links to videos which are free and will help them. Also encourage them to join USBGF where there are hundreds of free videos and articles and other benefits of membership.

One suggestion for Remi in NY regarding the cube is to watch streamed matches with commentators.

david played very well. i put a few of his decisons in xg and the 5-2 he played to point on her blot on his 5 point was correct. The double 2 the game before he could have made 9 pt but played safe was a mistake. her cube at the end was a very small mistake . Good take by david . However David was starting to run into time trouble , which xg does not factor into its decisions . She was definitely favourite and even if she cubed when it was gin and David dropped she would be up 8 4 crawford with one min on davids clock. Although it was only .small error -03 it gifted david an easy take with reasonable contact and he got a surprise gammon !! BG gods were appreciative of the goat David sacrificed the night before. If I learned anything from this game that is to be patient and wait for opportunities in match. Props to Herr Klausa for the victory

Falafel stacked men on the bar at least 10 times and each time Mochy had to separate them but he kept doing it! I'm home a lot so I'm watching a lot of matches and nobody seems to be telling the players about we, the KZbin viewers, that can't see the bottom checker.

And what do you think about the quality of this chess clock? Is it good, durable?
@mmesich5 ай бұрын
The ZMF-II is a very common clock for individuals to buy as the readout is bright and clear and the audio/visual feedback is nice. The downsides are the size and batteries required as they generally do not fit within a backgammon board like a LEAP clock might. This is the clock I own and use and just carry it along.

Depending on where you are in the world, you can ask your local federation. Alternately, you can look up mmesich on Reddit and provide him with your real name, email address, and a social media link to verify against.
