Well, besides the job that you talked about I’m also not to Val versed in too well-versed with much most everything Internet. I don’t know I must tap the button and I couldn’t get back in and then a message popped up to enter the time of my comment I’m not sure exactly what that means but it’s 18 1:11 AM Saturday, March 4 central standard time 21st-century specifically 2023 again … great video 🤙🏻😏‼️

I just wanted to say ….that I just finished watching your video clip regarding the company that you work for & specifically the invitation, as well as, all of the initial information… that any potential employee( or for that matter…. anyone looking for work in that area, could possibly anticipate or expect. That being stated…( oh yeah … BTW : I guess I should get this out of the way now rather than later,,,, ) I’m certainly aware, that in my particular instance along with my past, individual & very, very limited experience and to an even greater degree…my next to nil knowledge base regarding this type of work, as well as, pretty much a 💯% guaranteed ( trust me… I’LL NEVER BE… HOWEVER REMOTE ) … end up each and every aspect of what this kind of job requires. However, I did have the occasion, for approximately six months ( while I was waiting to see if I would be excepted to medical school on my first attempt… I wasn’t) of working with / for my brother-in-law who had his own business of exporting veneer wood to Germany & a few other north European countries ( …. NOPE… I 💯% had ZERO CLUE of just exactly what the word/ term “ veneer “ meant / implied …. other than as it related to dental aesthetics. The deal was basically to find property, usually in / around Amish county and reach an agreement as to… how many threes that Mr. Yoder was willing to, for the right price agree to be cut down and dragged off of his property … I have absolutely no participation in that aspect whatsoever I was too engrossed in the concept of Yoder seems like every farm we went to. That was Amish. My brother-in-law would be speaking with Mr. Yoder, and the only reason I was tagged along and tolerated was he was married to my sister nepotism … does annoys imply negative connotation. My only of driving what I would say is the equivalent to value 3/4 of the size 2 about 3/4 of the size vehicle flatbed with about 15. I guess logs no branches are leaves. Those were cut off and specifically going up a hill about 2 miles an hour, I couldn’t get the whole gear thing figured out nor can I get much of the vehicles that I had experience with figured out namely the skater I thought you used to drag the stupid tree out of the forest and I just wondered one day first of all, how did I get on top of this 38 feet diameter mob tree whatever and all the wheels were off the ground and how is he gonna explain that to my brother-in-law it was a good thing that I knew it wouldn’t be too bad of a verbal beat down conditioner to my sister. I had that going for me as for the one to 2 miles up the hill out in the country … about every 30 seconds to a minute when I got brave enough, I looked in the rearview mirror and I couldn’t believe oh I could see all the way down the hill 20 - cars behind me…. at any rate, I just knew it wasn’t for me even before the whole driving thing why I thought I knew more than my brother in law about which way the firemen hundred 125 foot tree was going to fall when they cut it down I had zero experience, but, the stubbornness and me which got me to reapply to medical school but I didn’t get in on my first try just said you’ve got to be out of your mind that this tree is going to fall anywhere near where I’m standing that I remembered spencers mountain, the movie and grandpa and I realized let me punt to the expert and follow his advice. Good thing not a word with said but because he took the Ryan as I said, you’re glad you listen to me in mind and said you bet. Pulling over to chitchat, I just wanted to say that, even though I am no way qualified to be come qualified, it was a very good advertisement. It was very thorough. It was very nonthreatening. It was very encouraging and the part of me that thought I knew where to stand when the tree was falling down Crabs back in and just kind of made me think I wonder if everything he’s touting and saying that will happen happens. I just wanted to save it by the end of your advertisement an invitation 100% on board not a single doubt that you wouldn’t deliver on everything and anything that you stated, and The best part was the genuineness and the honesty were yeah we need drivers. Yeah I will make some extra money for referrals whatever and no you’re not going to have to come up to me and say the person you put me with has been sleeping the entire week where is the hands on right by my side Individual who can look out of his Rearviewmirror and see that I’m going 1 to 2 miles an hour uphill on the country and there’s about 40 cars behind me, so just wanted to say you couldn’t hired anybody to convey the honesty into and integrity of your KZbin come work for our company. What’s the point where I thought it was a little bit repetitive however, as I thought about it when I finished watching there certainly wouldn’t be any room for doubt or really any possibility at all that someone could say well you never mention that or didn’t say that I didn’t get that Impression when I watch the video… So again, just congratulations hats off for what I say today Matt specifically but in this current 21st-century Geo political time. But it’s refreshing to see somebody show their hand on the table and then back it up and be very inviting and encouraging, and you were both of those and beyond so congratulations. Great presentation ! --- Funny thing that had kind of jog, my memory, watching this was once I reached the destination with the flatbed, and it doesn’t have big huge logs on back. It was an Amish farm and the mother and the cutest two year-old with the lighter blue shirt and the darker blue pants with the suspenders, and the hat, but no shoes bare feet and his mom side the entire time thank God because I had to figure out how to get those logs off of that flatbed. It was a forklift one of the vehicles I had not yet mastered I don’t even know how to start the dang thing, and without any prompting, I guess the two-year-old was able to figure out the intangibles that his mother and the stranger were a bit perplexed so he pulled some lever impressed his finger on button and bingo, forklift ready and raring to go not successful whatsoever. All the logs came off at one time. I was glad that there was a cage type thing around the forklift because the two year old. Probably sick of being inside all day and his mother said it would be fine, and she had no issues with for a bit but I thought she was going to say her two-year-old managing before cliff, while I watched and observed… I thinking back, but I thought there was ever a reason in the world that that scenario could work. I just didn’t feel like taking any unnecessary chances. Good luck with your recruiting efforts. It was a great video ‼️

What is the advantage to a company to contract out their trucking to JB Hunt?
@721Trucker
@721Trucker 2 жыл бұрын
Usually the advantage is that they don't need to run their own transportation division and deal with hiring drivers, buying equipment, etc. The net cost and net headaches save them money and hassles most of the time.

They may if they are struggling to get drivers. Amazon is the main focus for the inexperienced driver apprentices at the moment, but they do consider other accounts if there is a problem pulling in drivers.

I know that level of visibility,traction and drag you must be 100% focused because the absolute last place you want to be is in a collision and freezing in the cold by the side of the road. Try 5 inches of fresh packing snow no tire tracks and you can't see the painted lines on the road there is a banked curve you had no experience on and you want a speed that puts your weight at 90 deg to the road surface while it is still snowing 2 inch an hour. This driver in this video knows how to roll over snow and ice.

I love these drivers who have to brag and compare pay amongst different companies. You have no idea what their work environment is or what they have to do to earn that money vs their previous job. And the other component always in play is are they lying or exaggerating.

what's funny is how all these losers from ten cent trucking companies are always talking crap about the biggest outfits on Earth. Swift has 16,000 tractors and better safety snapshots than most outfits on the road. Same for Schneider.

Bin there drove in it or worse. Number 1 rule do not change direction or speed quickly, you ride the tire tracks and stay away from other vehicles. In 47 years of being a licensed driver and living in the land of winter ice and snow I have wiped out in the ditch all of once and that time I was being reckless demonstrating the stability of my '75 Camaro on an ice covered road. One advantage the Trucker has is they are up higher and have a longer line of sight as well as being able to lock their axle differentials,he says he has 10,000 pounds on the trailer deck which is light however he is not top heavy. I would say he has the right strategy to roll through this. You roll through snow storms like this you don't drive through them there is not a lower and faster speed there is only an optimal speed that will give you the flotation to not sink and the ability to coast to a stop and maintain your weight at 90*degrees to the road surface on a banked curve. Good luck to all driving in icey conditions it can be no place for the faint hearted.
