I like the new Blood Angels HQs, but the new Death Company and Sanguinary Guard are kind of a letdown.

Love the channel but the Blood Angles look terrible. Gw needs to step up their models to AOS quality levels.

I hope as a grey knight that the codex will drop definetly this year, and also with atleast two new models, the roster is small and maybe a specificc kill team would make wonders...

Totally agree. Writing of the fighting was kinda so-and-so, but the Skaven being actual nightmare fuel is the highlight.

Conquest is causing your channel to go to the bottom of the discovery list.

Recently got into Conquest myself. The lore is great and models are very nice. Got a Dweghom First Blood warband first off, then this narrative box, now have a Hundred Kingdoms warband on the way. Love the fact that players have a real influence on the lore with the Living World.

Not a single one of my friends finished that show, neither did I. It is not only utter crap it is also very very boring.

GW got a huge community that is it, nice models sure but so have many companies. Their rules are to be honest rubish, there is no if's or buts about it. Rules are clunky, abstract, boring, opposite to innovative and badly written. However pick up games are a plenty.

I am hopeful for AoS too. Not to be a downer but combat patrol is exactly the same concept as Spearhead and they made all the same promises for Combat patrol.

it was worth it, impressiv sight all on the table and much much more built then i have at the moment. and after the reviews for spearhead in the last few days i orderd 3 spearhead boxes(sylvaneth, daughters of khain & lumineth) and the skaventide box for the stormcast part. the sylvaneth needed to be built in 3 weeks because my friends organising a tournament then to test spearhead ^^''

I have to build and paint all dok, stabbas for gitz, bounderz come later in stormbringer, have to build the tree revenants, base the tree lord. Today I finished painting the chariot that completes the Yndrastra spearhead. So I have a priority backlog of 9 Units for Spearhead.

I noticed the Branchwytch is one of the miniatures that GW is discontinuing, but it is in the Spearhead box. What do you think this might mean?

Disappointed by the lack of an Ironjawz spearhead - but otherwise looks like a fun Faction! A bit sad that their only Battle Traits are ONE ability to move, and a single 1/game WAAAGH....whereas everyone else gets tons of Traits and abilities they can keep using and selecting the best ones to help each round

I bought my daughter an ogor maw tribes vanguard box and myself a kharadron overlords vanguard box so we can play together. After building both sets I went on the AOS app to calculate points ko is about 660 points and the ogre maw tribes are about 1K how do you think that is going to be balanced ?

Temptation was not good even in aos 3. People would only take d3 mw. Limiting depravity generation slowing down getting access to buffs you needed and wanted. Leaving euphoric killers as the main way to generate depravity and actually gain access to army traits. In the new aos 4 slaanesh system you gain access to army traits on demand. Run and charge and shoot was surprisingly missing from multiple units that could have used it. This does mean units that had it dont now but at least every unit has access to it. Crit hits works on range and melee again this on demand. Used to need 24 dp and only worked on melee. Could be bit stronger buff wise and do mw easier on the tempt dice. But its not to far out of wack. Simple -1 to be hit or wouned and or tempt dice doing mw on 4+ or the d3 2+ mortal writing they have been doing could balance it better. .spearhead with it being smaller game and facing up to 6 d3 mw a round they probably will let you earn depravity.

The most frustrating thing to me is that, despite the extended timeline for Old World releases, they will still insist on releasing a new edition inside of the 36 month lifespan of the game.

I think theres alot of real world logistics involved in the slow pace of the old world. No one expected it to be so successful..and like being busy in a kitchen; its a good problem to have. I agree with you about the release cycle being too fast at 3 years. Im just not that excited about 4th ed. yet.. They call it modular but is it really? It seems like youbplay spearhead..or all the modules. If tournaments use and dont use certain modules then the whole stats and tournament scene will have a bit of a problem. All this streamlining is designed to make it faster, easier, simpler, but ot could also make it very basic and boring. Like butter scraped over too much bread..
