Theoretically - yes. The videos cover all the ‘stuff’ you need to know. The past papers give you an indication of how to answer the questions but the grade 9 really does come down to how you explain your answers on the day - especially to the stretch and challenge questions. So really look carefully at mark schemes to see the language expected of you for the marks…don’t go down the route of “close enough” as the exam markers won’t be saying that in July. Underlined words on the mark scheme MUST be included in your answer for example.

I do get some ad revenue from the channel but mostly I just want to help people learn biology. I know not every student is guaranteed a qualified biology teacher for their full course so this means nobody will be disadvantaged by their school recruitment issues or staff absences. Also means any kids who are not able to attend school for whatever reason don’t need to fall behind and miss out.

A tip for memorising the compound ions is using the formula for acids to derive them. For example H2SO4 contains two H+ ions so I know that SO4 will have a charge of 2-. This only works if you know your acid formulas off by heart ofc

I'd hope everyone learnt the equation for hydrochloric acid back in their time in KS3. It is one everyone should have had lots of practice writing since Y7 when you first mixed acids and alkalis or metals and acid together.
