How did you get Musesounds to playback the high E in the 1st trumpet part? Unless there was an update, the range for trumpet has been limited to a high D before the playback stops.

you have to select the gliss, go to properties, playback, then set the gliss to portamento rather than chromatic

Why don't you play a recording of the show and put the transcription scrolling through below it? I've seen it on other channels and someone did it with this exact show chunk and got 30x more views with a way less accurate transcription. Just a thought, I think it makes the video more engaging. Great work as always though!

Thanks for the compliment! I’m always hesitant with uploading clips from shows on top of the transcription, especially when it’s footage from FloMarching. At the end of the day, I value this channel over a few extra thousand views! That being said, if I can get my own recording I’d feel much safer uploading it!

I was the channel in question. I believe adding a transcription to the flo videos falls under fair use, since you're adding educational value and the purpose is to educate the audience on the music being played. Copyright law is confusing sometimes, so I may be wrong, but I haven't encountered any issues thus far. Great transcription though, you were a bit more accurate than i was 3 weeks ago haha

I can understand the reasoning behind that process, but in my experience, Flo (and corps themselves, like Crown) have been very random in whichever videos they take down. For now, I don’t plan to risk it!

Also, unfortunately this transcription is out of date, since they altered the trumpet part near the end. I don’t know why they did it, maybe it was too difficult to get the timing right? But I think it’s worse now than it was, personally :/

Just started learning your version of this with the sheet music! It’s fantastic, I’m only a month into learning piano so this is the perfect level of difficulty for me. My only complaint is that measure 27 with the left hand? The D flat follower by all the eighth notes? Brother, do you think I have Andre the Giant’a hands? I can’t make it🥲
