First! I always wanted to say that! The bug zapper in the high voltage software bit reminded me of the bug's life movie. Don't look at the light, Harry! But it's so beauutiful!!

Definitely, it makes the footage a lot grainy and darker. I kinda forgot how brutal some of the special kills can be.

oh man this brings me back. I remember back in n64 days recording glitches in OOT to show my friends later but back then everyone had a vhs player. Fable was a great game when it dropped I put so many hours into it going over every inch of the world unlocking everything. I need to go back and try the other ones I've still never got around to playing 2&3. I was going to but they dropped ads for that one tower defense xbox eye thing so I just never looked at fable again.

The remake is phenomenal, but the Original will always be superior to me and hold a Special Place in my heart. I am glad we get to enjoy this original wonderful game and its companion piece, the Remake, side by side.

The Halo CE campaign still holds up today, why? Because it was a group of gaming nerds making the game. Now you just have women and other people who publicly state they HATE gamers and the fanbase of any game working at 343 and the new Halo Studio (aka Gaylo Studios). It's over my friends.

Back in the day, they focused on the game play loop. You can hear them talk about it in the making of Halo CE documentary. Game studios have been pushing "innovation" in all recent titles for over a decade and nothing improves.

Hello, VHS tapes and VCR players were made up until 2006. Actually My friend and I played through VCR onto his CRT up until like 2008 with ps3 and xbox360. So to me it’s like going back to those days.

I'm trying some vhs filters with reshade and retroarch, they give retro games a more realistic looking and I love it. I just can't stand old games on lcd screens, but with some vhs filters the image changes a lot.

PSP ports were always a downsized version. I had Spiderman 2 and king Kong and all the levels were missing.

@@RetroVHSGameplay It had a charm when they downsized it. Felt like a whole new game you could play differently. Cross-gen games during the PS3 to PS2 days had that PS2 to PSP port feeling and I loved it. Sonic Unleashed for PS2 is a great example of this cause they had to completely build a whole new game for the PS2

just one problem: you have to render/upload this in 4K. yes, i know, its supposed to look low res, but youtube compression below 4K absolutely destroy all details. specially low res / VCR footage. so even if this sounds crazy, it would look a lot better and you'd see more how in real life we would watch a real VHS/VCR in front of us.

Yes I agree, one day I wanna record all the VHS footage using S Video and rendering it to 4K. Right now I’m using the standard composite so the quality is already downgraded on top of the KZbin compression so most of the image is lost
