thank you so much for the video! I have done it but the texture rough - it was like biting on sand, the polenta was too coarse! can you tell me what kind or make of polenta you used?

I have been looking for a curry recipe that my family always had and my wife made from memory and she sadly passed away over a year ago and this curry recipe and meal was one of the best we served it over rice but the best part was the condiments that were served with it was, pineapple, banana, diced tomatoes, raisins or currants as the British say, coconut if you like, and then the best was a good apricot chutney this was the best. So far your curry has looked the most like I remember my wife’s. I wish I had been more help in the kitchen but I was always in the way.

Hi, it would be difficult without the nuts but if it's just almonds you don't like you could use any ground nuts. Hope that helps

I have just made 'lemon polenta cakes' using identical ingredients and they turned out very crumbly! They weren't dry, as there was so much butter in the mix that it prevents them feeling dry, but just didn't hang together well at all - and they were gritty, as the polenta hadn't cooked properly. I am struggling to see where the liquid comes from in these gluten-free recipes to actually allow the fine cornmeal to cook - the polenta meal I use absorbs more than four times its volume in water, so for a cup of polenta I need 4.25 cups of water to cook it on the stovetop. How is it meant to cook with only eggs, butter and a little lemon juice surrounding it?

Hi I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. I've honestly never had any issues with this recipe. I'm using the juice of 2 lemons so I guess it depends how big they are. Gluten free bakes with or without polenta do tend to be more crumbly but can still be delicious. Good luck and thanks for your comment.

Another lovely haul, ty for taking the time to share it with us. I loved seeing the magpie. I live in the city now but I grew up in the country and even though Im only about 20 minutes from where I grew up, I dont see the magpies often like I did when I was a kid. When school was out in the summer and I would sleep in, every morning I woke up to the sound of the magpies squawking at each other out on our deck. We had several birdfeeders in our large backyard and many many trees so we always had lots of magpies and other birds around. It was a wonderful place to grow up. Thank you for bringing back those memories <3

I wonder if it's the cheese that is the problem in the UK for things like quesadillas. I can't test it, but it makes me wonder if there's something not allowed in British cheese that actually would help the melting and its ability to stick things together that is allowed in American store bought cheese. Cheddar or one of the jack cheeses are usually used for Mexican food in Texas. Your cheddar in the UK doesn't look like American cheddar, so I don't know what the difference is other than the US having to put a dye in cheddar to make it orange. Just so I understand, you are saying you want gluten free noodles that are not rice noodles, right? Hugs! :)

The mozzarella cheese does work on the quesadillas. It is about finding how much cheese to use that is difficult. Too little cheese, it doesn't stick. Too much cheese and it just becomes a gooey mess. So just enough falls somewhere between too little and too much lol. It almost sounds like I'm giving you a baking recipe. I promise you it does work. So great to see you and you sound wonderful.

Hi Kate it’s lovely to see you back again I’ve really missed you and your videos/ vlogs. Unfortunately since you both posted online with health has declined rapidly I can’t write or type anymore everything has to be done by voice recognition which is very difficult sometimes when my voice is slowly. I did email you a couple of weeks ago just to say hi and to wish you well which you obviously are because you’re posting this vlog~ sending loads of love to you and your husband is usual xxx- Xxx

Sorry to hear you've got bruises & blisters !! I always disinfectant a needle ( safety pin so on ) with rubbing alcohol, or burn the tip with a lit match , then poke only the surface & let the water out ,then apply some ointment ! Calendula cream heals almost any skin condition !! Also ,lavender oil is very good for minor burns 'so might be good for blisters as well ! Also eucalyptus oil ( should be diluted w/ a carrier oil like jojoba oil ,olive oil ,coconut oil ,so on ) & as for the bruises, I always use arnica oil !! I highly recommend it !!! You can also use iodine on a blister . Hoping these will help you to heal faster !!! Sorry ! I should've mentioned these 1st !!! 💜🥁🎵🐉🎤🎶💞p.s.I meant this for your newest video !! Lol.No ! I was right !! Sorry !! Lol. I kept playing them in a loop now !! On my smart TV & been writing comments & replying emails at the same time did get me confused !! Lol.😅Yorkshire is my favourite u.k.brand !👍

OMG 😍😍 I KNOW ~~!!! YOU WELSH PEOPLE ARE SO ~~~BLESSED !!! With all those beautiful landscapes & sceneries of the nature there !!! I wish if I were a Welsh !!!! Lol. I am always speechless to.see how long & how much green fields & rolling hills & tall tall 🌳 last from windows 's views of cars/ trains in Wales travel vlogs the You Tubers uploading !!! BUT NOTHIN LIKE WALES !!! Those tall tall tress ,untamed wilderness ,so wild !!! 😍 And beautiful & everlasting !!! Bees 🐝 are very very important, you're so right !!! Without them ,we humans won't be here ! I believe we'll go in days without 'em !!! Gosh ! That was A LOT BEES on the grass !! I've noticed & seen 'em here in L.A.,too that I try very hard not to crush them ,too !! But ,oh my !! That was a lot there !! 😯 I almost got stung by a bee once ! I heard / saw her/ him giving me the warning ⚠️w/ static noise !!! = " I am gonna sting you !" ( btw.,= symbol was invented by a Wesh person !! Lol 👍.) 😱And I didn't know why !! I found out much much later that bees will sting you if you're wearing red colour !!! My sister just got stung by a bee a few days ago while she was doing some work in her garden !! ( she has been stung by bees many times by now !!! Like 3rd or 4th now !!! All at different occasions & places ! ) I asked " Were you wearing a red top !? & she replied " Yes !! The one cute tank top you've given me !! Why !!?" LOLLOLLOL 😅 I felt bad for the bee ! And her ,of course ! Lol.

WOW ! How many days of cooking & shooting days did those take !!? I watch your videos even though I am a vegetarian as you are very very funny !!! 🤣😂 & have one vegetarian dish in your video !! The cheese dish looked good !! I love cheese & macaroni ,I do sometimes with renet free cheese ( I use an instant way ,Anny's is my favourite brand with organic low fat milk ,or almond ,or soy milk ) !! The gnocchi looked very nice !!! I LOVE GNOCCHI !!! 😍 I do eat gnocchi at 🏡 & Italian restaurants w/o cheese ,though ! I think you said something about animal welfare reg.the pork sausage ? I was thinking what to say here as writing...so, heard it partially. Very nice that many meat industry companies started making the effort !!! 👍👍 OH! ALDI !! Yes !
