That keyboard, chord change reminds me of a Huey Lewis and the News song but I can't remember exactly which one. Maybe Power of Love? I like it! Great track to practice over. Google voice has a feature/button that searches "songs" based on melody but it came up empty.

I like this one. Sounds really dark

If you’re having trouble remembering where the notes are, E Phrygian is the exact same notes on the fretboard as A minor.

Had a lot more fun with this than I expected. Well, fun is not the word really, more like the sheer joy of finding runs, octaves, triads and licks I didn't know were there to exploit. Gotta repeat again.

Nice groove, but the title is misleading, Since there is no second chord, in addition to B Dorian scale, the B minor scale also works (and of course, the B minor pentatonic). In fact, switching from Dorian to minor adds an interesting variation.
