When I was a kid I saw an old English movie that had Mermaids in it and every time we went to the beach I was always hoping to see a mermaid. That never happened,mind you , years later a friend of mine had webbed feet and hands , was like a Mermaid in the Ocean. One time she went a rescued one of our friends when he got stuck on a rock when the seas got rough while we were snorkeling off the rocks. Brought him back to where we were on the rocks, when I went to give her a hand to get out off the water, she said Nah! I’m going to have a bit of a swim. There we were watching in disbelief as the sea got rougher and there she was swimming in it without a care in the world. Key West looks like a great place to go 👍

Hello, I was analyzing your KZbin channel (AskAConcierge). I identified some critical issues with your KZbin channel. Can we talk about how to improve your channel?

What are the qualifications? What educational courses would need to be required? Any on-job training available if the first two questions aren’t met? What is the average pay/hours?

Good show and the rant was justified. I experienced a simliar situation with Air France at the airport in Paris and told my TA to never book me with them again.

I always go to hotels when I travel and generally 4 star and up. I view it as part of the fun of travel so I am willing to pay for a nice hotel that has excellent amenities. When I attend international conventions, the hotels are usually 5 star and fairly expensive, but, I try to enjoy the entire experience and not worry that the hotel might be a bit more expensive.

50 by 50, It is lots of work... Years ago I did a series "7 Hotels In 7 Days" in four cities: Miami, Santa Fe, Toronto, Palm Springs. The first few days are easy but it becomes hard to be creative... Retirement is easier!

Another dud of a tinseltown hotel. Rock hard bed was OK by me, but wife hates all beds. Never found one worthy of sleeping in twice. Deal breaker for me was curtains failed to darken room at all. Desk clerk said he could not help. Hands tied by mgmt, blah blah blah. Went down sunset to nearest Home Depot and bought black plastic sheeting and duct tape. Turned room into cave. Asked front desk for discount for my material cost. Told to go pound sand. Will post bad review on Yelp, etc.

you say $5-$10 tip to concierge but not for how long a stay is-but per service, say making a reservation? if the concierge just gets us more cups for the coffee maker when they're out of them and tea, etc. - so i'm speaking of using staff for minor things which are part of the service anyway in staying at a hilton, what should i tip for a week stay? and if i don't use the cleaning service and just grab stuff off her/his cart or ask for those items, what should i tip?

I am a front desk hospitality agent in Los Angeles at the moment (bouncing between a couple hotels in Beverly Hills as staffing needs require), but a future move toward concierge service is on my mind aaall the time. Awesome content - I already follow so many Vloggers on Travel. Kristin Wilson (Travelling With Kristin / Badass Digital Nomads) who really told me a lot and got me hooked into all this stuff.
