Also, try some 3M super 77 or super 90 for laying in fabric/leather on your builds, works wonders.

'Dice' is plural of 'die'. So it would be 'The die has been cast.' or 'The dice have been cast.' As 'have' takes the place of 'has' for plural. That small bit aside, great build. I'm researching doing something similar. Hoping to make a compact, walnut, dice tower and tray combination that folds together.

Super nice build. I thought you were going to stamp, "THE DICE HAVE SPOKEN".

Nice job building this with only hand tools. Great looking dice tower.

Literally how pretty much all my glass projects have been turning out. Begin a new project with a load of confidence and energy, which then kind of slowly diminishes when the process doesn't go as smoothly as I had hoped. It gets to a point when the quality of my work keeps me from moving forward, forcing me to reevaluate the whole project. Luckily I have been lucky enough to salvage some of the projects at a later date.. while others have just been chalked up as tough lessons. Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing this realistic experience for many, the music had me really thinking you were going to turn this around but the ending was like ahhh haha yup totally relatable.

Wouldn't it be "the dice HAVE been cast"? Great work though, honestly, I think I could follow along if I wanted to make one of my own.

Nice work. I applaud your use of hand tools. Just in case you didn't know, wiping off the glue squeeze-out with a damp rag can save you a bunch of sanding time. :) I applaud your use of hand tools.

Thanks, I find hand tools to be a relaxing way to work and that's a good tip I normally wipe up then use a block plane or card scraper after it dries but this glue I tried didn't really wipe up but spread out and when it dried it was super rubbery under the tools so sanding was really my only option. Thanks for watching!

Nice maker kinfe. I'm pretty sure they were only available in black or silver when I bought mine. Did you get the ceramic blades with it? I'm still on the first ceramic blade but it only opens boxes.

Thanks I’m a fan of it. They did it as a limited item during the second run I think they only made 700 or so. I did not get the ceramic blade because I was silly I had some for another knife but they don’t fit the maker knife.

Nicely done! What is the red material you pressed the flowers between? Does it help the drying?
@happyhounddesign
@happyhounddesign 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! The red material was cardboard from an old box ... it’s doesn’t help with drying but it dose provide a soft surface , so the flowers stay intact. However the butcher paper acts as the final barrier between the flower and the press because it can absorb some of the remaining moisture in the flower making them less likely to mold during the month long drying process.

Love your work!! When you make your line you don't have to pull the glass, you would get a cleaner line if you just snapped it down, less grinding 😊

Ahh, I love this flower press. Now you have to make something with the flowers. Maybe a wind hike???
@happyhounddesign
@happyhounddesign 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks I’m not sure what a wind hike is but I’ll look into it... unless it was an autocorrect thing in which case I’m going to guess a kite or wind chimes and both would be very fun.
