Minha Kim was interviewed by Stephen Colbert on the Late Show two years ago when Pachinko Season One was released but I didn’t think the interview promoted Pachinko very well. I would have liked Colbert to have questioned Minha more about the series. So I definitely agree that there should be more mainstream exposure for these international shows especially the Korean, Chinese and Japanese dramas and films. He also interviewed Anna Sawai recently about her role in Shogan but very little about the actual series and only a brief mention of her role in Pachinko!! Disappointing.

And, the parents aren't that old, don't need somebody to take care of them and should be living their own lives. In this drama and in Romance in the House we have a plot point in which we think someone is someone else's father and it turns out they are not, I wonder if this is going to be a new troupe.
