I like to say that minimalism is about making your life fit you and the people you are living with. Not about how much stuff you have or about never adding another item to your home. We evolve with time, so of cause we will have to add to our life, but minimalism gives us the ability to consider if the items we have, still adds to our life or if it is time to say goodbye. I am happy to see that you have found this out and are now sharing it :) thank you <3

I love only having what we use... but we have the LUXURY of being retired. I can't be a true minimalist because; I'm too lazy to edit, I'm too cheap to pay for storage, and I'm not willing to throw away my tools, gym equipment and musical instruments. If I win the lottery, I MIGHT consider majoring in it.

Minimalism is great if one has no one to think of but himself or herself.

Really well done!!! Wish I'd found your channel years ago because you took all the stress out of exploring minimalism and honored and respected what gave you pleasure instead of beating yourself up trying to get down to the perfect number of things. To me that's just ego and self abuse and not the true purpose of minimalism. I think that's the wrong word anyway to describe a loving exploration of what is truly valuable and nourishing in our lives and what isn't.

Hi Deanna… Keep doing what you are doing now that you are back. Keep it real and raw… Then we can just be ourselves too… I have been living my life with should, maybes, whys, I’m so tired and now at 57 I want to be me…. Whoever that is… Please don’t change Ps I thought you’d given up on minimalist life on previous recent video but know I know you are sharing with flatmates. But it was good to see you surrounded by plants etc… Look forward to sharing your journey with you for 2023! No expectations, no pressure, just when you feel like expressing your beautiful self.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Love these 4 points and will definitely try to implement them into my routine. I find it challenging to make my gratitude practice more meaningful, instead of feeling like im just going through the motions. I also noticed my exercise became something not challenging really, and more just something I got done and over with. So much to think about and improve on!
