Yeah this is easily the most forgettable era for Nickelodeon. I still enjoy it more than the 2010’s and current era which when they no longer good but at least this 80’s era had some good moments. The early 1990’s to Mid 2000’s were easily the golden age period for Nick until they declined in the 2010’s.

I can see how Viacom changed everything in 1986 and transformed Nickelodeon into what it would become in the late 80s and early to mid 90s.

NICKELODEON WAS ONCE RECOMMENDED BY THE N.E.A, but not anymore! Back then, Nickelodeon had an educational value via its shows "Pinwheel", "Kids Incorporated", "Livewire", "Mr. Wizard", and others. But today, it's been hijacked by the idiocy of Sponge Bob.
