I have long wondered why this type of manual lathes are not built, but instead traditional gear boxes are still used.

Excellent video Yuri, I would like you to do a video on the selection of a transformer. This is the next step once you know the machine voltage. This is really helpful to me, I am not an electrician.

Fantastic Yuri, this is the best of both worlds. How can I buy one of the T5's here in the USA? What kind of warranty is with the machine? I would like to hear from the people who have bought these in the past. What did they think of them? Do they like it or not? Any problems with the machine?

On My commercial fishing vessel I have large vertically mounted water pumps. to keep them from rusting horribly I fill the recesses in the body with toilet bowl wax mixed with paraffin. it is soft enough to dig out if necessary but firm enough not to collect dirt and stuff and bounds well to the painted steel and prevents water from sitting and causing rust and bad odors.

Хороший аппарат, но слабенький и с жесткостью проблемы. Зато точный. Имеем такой, только уже от ретоса. Ещё двух тыся часов не наработано, а он уже вскрывался хз сколько раз. Сейчас, например, пропали подачи при работе с планшайбой, и чего дела, хз. Даже не може разобраться откуда идет момент на коробку подач. А так норм, стоит уци ханденхайн, вот это вообще песня, без него смысла от станка нет вообще. Только если дрова на нем рубить.

Great video. Yes it is 3 years later but it is the gift that keeps giving. I have a small lathe a G0602 Grizzly lathe. I have installed a 3 PH motor with an VFD drive. the VFD has a brake but it is not strong enough to stop the machine with a heavy part. I am making a brake to go on the back of the Lathe spindle that uses a pull behind DC electric trailer brake to stop the spindle. Thank you for your time!

I assume that could be programmed to any 4 or 3+1 axis machining centre. The difficulty would be in the tool geometry.
