Hi we have recently bought a boat same as yours and we think yours looks great. The toilet on ours was removed and one side of the sofa/sleeping area was made longer and electrics put in after that, on same side as lengthenedsofa area. So we're thinking of building a toilet on the opersit side and making the kitchen area smaller as we think will be less involved and just be easier. What we would like to know is, what are the measurements of your toilet cubicle as this seems perfect size for a wc.

Please tell me there's a 2024 broads video?! I love your videos. The broads are my favourite place on earth, my better half and I are there this September for the weekend. It'll be her first time there and I just hope she 'gets' it. Once it gets you, there's just nothing better! Keep up the good work!

In Kev's defence, he wasn't checking his messages, that was his cheat sheets on the screen for the interview! Lots of questions and little nuggets of info to help the session go smoothly.

Can I have your girlfriend when you have your heart attack please, you know she has got you insured for a vast sum of money don't you " Just joking but I can not believe she cooks so many fried dishes,AND YOU EAT THEM. For breakfast fried bacon etc, later out for lunch fried fish and chips, and for dinner fried sausages or were they done in the oven ? . Good grief your poor arteries, I believe Avocado oil is the nearest thing you can get to cook in that's healthy,and that's a bit of an oxymoron. Loved the trip,I hope I can find more of your vidz.

Youve put a lot of hard work and effort into these videos and i would like to say thank you for sharing your holiday journey through the Broads. The footage and stills are amazing, really capturing the atmosphere of the rivers and surrounding areas. I think ive watched them all now but will just check.. Hello ! I enjoy watching your videos!Last year I bought a Rock Ola 444 and started servicing it. You helped me a lot to be able to restore this jukebox. But there was a problem and maybe you can give me some advice. Thank you in advance!I cleaned it very carefully and replaced the missing parts . I supplied the device with power and after a few adjustments it worked perfectly for a few days. Then, all of a sudden, those WRITE IN solenoids no longer wanted to hit those pins at the time of the write in sequence. It finds the selected song, it stops next to the pin (the tooth ) but it doesn't do anything anymore(does not hit the pin). If I move that pin with my finger, then the carousel starts (read out) and play the selected song (the disc put on the turntable, rolled to the end and then put back in the carousel). To give a clearer idea, I will explain the exact steps. I give him credit from the credit button on the credit box (the one for servicing). I press the keys (ex. A 1). The keys remain locked (pulled by the solenoid next to the keyboard), then the arms for write in start to rotate and stop next to the selected song (A 1 ). After this moment, the carousel starts spinning, but it doesn't stop because no PIN is moved. After a few turns, I have to unplug it because the solenoid on the wobble plate starts to get very hot because it remains activated (I think it deactivates after the pin is reset by the read out arm). I'm not sure but I suspect. Please help me with some advice .Maybe you or somebody know where this problem comes from.Maybe somebody can show me where to look more carefully... where to look or what to check. I don't understand why it worked and then stopped doing everything properly. I I also reset the gear wheel with tooth from the credit box. I replaced all the relays, checked the fuses. I cleaned the write in and read out tracks with extreme care. I think that the solenoids on the write in arm are not activated by the red wires. The ground works (the black wire). Have a good day! Hi Mike! Hmm, interesting fault - sounds like you've checked the things I would have checked first - relays and the circular tracks on the write-in wheel. Just to be clear, when you make a selection, the write-in arm stops at the right place, but doesn't hit the pin. At this point, does the carousel start spinning, or does it only start spinning when you manually flick a pin? If it starts spinning without a pin being selected, that suggests that the wobble plate switch might have jammed itself on, or there's a pin selected elsewhere that you haven't spotted. Hmm, that wouldn't explain why it's not cancelling pins once the record has been put on though. I think I need to have a look through the service manual and remind myself how these things work, it's been 4 years since I last messed with that Rock-Ola, my memory is a bit vague haha. If it's not cancelling pins, doesn't sound like a solenoid fault, because that would be two solenoids failing at the same time, and that's never gonna happen. I'll have a look through the service manual and get back to you. By the way, have you tried it on A sides and B sides? Knowing whether it's just an A side or A & B side problem may help narrow down the problem.

I wrote a reply yesterday too, but I see that it does not appear in the comments. Now that I read what you wrote to me, I realized that you are right. After the "write in" arm stops, if it does not hit a PIN, then read out should not start. What could be the problem? How can I unlock the switch and where is it located? I checked the one next to the wobble plate and it seems to be ok (closes and opens the contact when the solenoid is pulled). And still the following problem remains. Why don't those solenoids from write in arm hit the PIN. Could it be because it thinks there is a PIN out? I checked and they all seem to be in place. On Wednesday I will have more free time and I will try to clean the inside of the wobble board with Contact cleaner. Maybe there are corroded components inside and they make bad connection. I look forward to your advice. I asked about my problem in other places, but it seems that the world is not as kind as it used to be :(

@@mihaibarb8856 Hi, have located the service manual, I knew I had a copy knocking around on the computer somewhere! Have you got a copy by the way? Don't mind sending you a pdf if that would help, the sequence of operation chapters are REALLY useful for tracing faults. Going to have a proper read of it tonight, will get to the bottom of this. My gut says it's probably a relay that's got stuck, either in the credit accumulator or the selection control box. Will get back to you when I've had a more in-depth nose through the manual.

Incidentally, you said you checked the wobble plate switch - can you hear it audibly click? Have you put an ohm meter across the contacts to check that they go on and off when the switch moves? Also, have you checked the wobble plate itself? If not: with the juke switched off, make sure there are no pins on the plate currently selected, then flick one of the pins on and off, this should move the piece of metal against the switch and cause it to click - flicking the pin on and off should make that microswitch click on and off - if it doesn't there's a problem with the wobble plate mechanism itself.

OK, think I have a better understanding of the mechanism now that I've had another read of the manual. Question - when you make a selection, the write in arm rotates to the correct part of the wheel, but the hammers don't flick the pin. At this point, does it release the latch bar, allowing the selected buttons to pop up? If not, I think it's time to take a closer look at the relay contacts inside the credit unit.
