Best careful with this. You'll think your good and delete your original files that took hours to download. Then, go to play them after using SAK, and the damn things are encrypted. So much form making them one file so I don't have to install dlc and updates everything. 😡🤦‍♀️

Not working with my reatroarch (Steam version). What files can I check? When a game is running and I press config to see overlay it shows the game file overlay as choosen but no overlay is shown during game. If I manually choose the overlay file it appears... but as soon as I close Retroarch and open again occurs the same behavior where no overlay is shown . Thxs for the help in advance.

7:40 Adding like that is fast, bur organizing the games this way is atrocious, for example, what Batman game does nbbatman rom stand for? That's actually Ninja Baseball Bat Man. A lot of names aren't intuitive, like Mortal Kombat games start at M but Ultimate 3 from U. So I only added the games that are actually in database, but they have proper names, genres, other data, autodownloaded covers, retroachievement support and stuff. I just had to double check so I have correct romset and download few games it didn't recognize manually. THEN you can sort into playlists without having a wall of 1000s rom names. Most hacks would also need manual add the way you show it. This is same for any platform on retroarch, as if you get games with hacks already applied (or patch them yourself), for MOST games database won't recognize them anymore (apart from few popular Zelda mods), so for ease of use I just put unpacked rom and .ips files from ROMHacking in the same folder, it grabs it and patches on the fly, I am not sure how to do that with non-merged roms for MAME tho, since each game is many files in a zip and you can't just have a neat folder with unpacked game+hack like for SNES or Genesis.

Yeah everyone should get FBNeo and 2003-plus cores at least. In my romset, a bunch of games aren't recognized fy FinalBurn Neo, a significant amount only show up in 2003-plus but also a dozen for 2010 MAME. FB Neo also has minor issue with transparency you can fix by manually deleting files in the "blend" folder, can do it per-game too (to fix Warriors of Fate I had to delete "RetroArch\system\fbneo\blend\wof.bld"). Main problem I have is I don't know how to add hacks to arcade games properly, if you patch files they aren't noticed by database and you'd have to add each manually... for single rom games you just put .ips in the folder, but arcade romsets are zipped. P.S. I forgot to add samples to other core folders and wondered why sound so bad, thanks for reminding me!

If the font package link takes you to a page of text, you can File > Save Page As... and save it as PSPUPDAT.PUP. It works

Yeah man, you're the best. But in theory, the path would also have to change to the other folders (BIOs, cache, memory card, covers and more), or was I thinking wrong? If I take the PCSX2 folder to a new PC or SSD will it load the old Path?
