When I was doing Comedy in the UK, someone took one of my jokes and did it in a club before I got on stage a week later. They explained to me that that’s a compliment. After I read a book by one or their comics Oliver Double I realize they weren’t lying. They go all the way back to the old vaudeville days to get material. 😂

I work for a 3rd party company that both the production companies and the tour companies trust. Live music is full of stories like this where the house screws the band or the band screws the house. So my company exists because of that divide.
