So sick but what’s that machine/how’d the colors come out differently? Just curious on the process
@smalltownlasercreations10 күн бұрын
Each color is a separate sheet of acrylic that is cut then placed in like a puzzle. It’s pretty tough when it’s a small sign cause some of the pieces are tiny. As for the machine it’s a thunder nova 51 / 100 watt

How do you make sure that the different parts fit together perfectly without leaving gaps? I mean, a cut also has a width. Do you cut the fitting parts a little larger and if so, how do you calculate that? Your signs look like they are all made out of one piece or printed. Awesome

In reality it should only take a few minutes and then purging the bubbles out should take another couple minutes. Make sure that you purge all the bubbles out too

Thank you, you answer really fast! My water stays only in the reservoir. I try to blow in the snake (sorry don't know the english name), then my water goes out the reservoir, but the machine would't not pomp it. So maybe i have to blow until it work. Hopely the pump will work.

Could your hoses be reversed on the back of the machine
@sandravankampen68564 ай бұрын
I don't know. I found a page with instructions when the flow test stays at 0L/min. I checked the hoses for kinks. Next step is to check a cable on the circuit board. I will do that tomorrow.

Best places I was able to find is custom made better .com They seem to have good pricing for what you are getting the place prior to that was CMS acrylics but they have sent closed up shop. The only Acrylic I buy local is my 4’ x 8’ sheets for large signs and that’s normally only in black, white or clear.

How did you get started in this business?
@smalltownlasercreations8 ай бұрын
To be honest I have always had the entrepreneurial spirit. Once I graduated college my dad started getting shirts made and I said “I hate the way you are doing this, let’s do it this way” well that turned into 4-5 years of a small business making t-shirts and by the end I hated it. It was a ton of work to make not a ton of money, especially since each shirt was singular and custom so you couldn’t bulk out shirts. After closing that I just started researching. I wanted a machine that did majority of the work and would then make more profits. I came across lasers and enjoyed the concept of them. Well researched and researched and decided to jump in feet first and spent 8k of refinancing money from our home for house projects and bought a machine lol. The machine was small and not a great investment for what we paid but made some money. Well enough for us to sell that machine after the first year and upgrade to a 13k machine that can cut 48”x35” Long story but do not regret it at all.

Action cameras like DJI Osmo action 4 are great cause it gives you a wider angle. Between that and the DJI mic setup you will never have to have another camera. With that being said a camera like the Sony ZV-E10 is a great camera for higher quality videos. You do not need both though to start. We have an outdoor channel that we run as well that we uses the original osmo action for 3 years without a mic and it worked great. That’s the camera I’d probably recommend over anything.
