Referring to them as the "knit" and "purl" sides of the seam, and the direction they point, was immensely helpful! Thank you.

Thank you so much! You're set of videos are amazing, I feel empowered to thrift and recycle yarn. I'm hoping to cut down on waste and not purchase any plastic based yarns new, you've helped me so much!

Ugh, I'm messing with an older wool sweater and the seams are actual thread that's very hard to pick out from the yarn because it's so small. The last sweater I frogged worked like this and it was amazing but it's honestly fastr for me to just cut all the threads for this one.

Saying a person is too cheap to buy yarn is not the best way to begin your tutorial. Perhaps you intended to say going to the Goodwill is an excellent means of purchasing garments to recycle. Cashmere is a wonderful fiber and if purchased outright it is very expensive. I do appreciate your tip.

I'm too fragile to buy cashmere, but I would take the time to unravel a sweater to get the fabulous fiber. that's how I took her anyway. Great video. Knowledge is power, and money saving, and helpful. Thank you.

I actually purchased a cashmere pullover from the Goodwill. I am very frugal myself and do love a great bargain. As far as your tutorial, I do agree and I love the practically of going to the local Goodwill as a means of purchasing garments to recycle.

Seams are often closed with what looks like CROCHET chain. Yes, start at the top and unravel the seam down. It’s not Knitting, it’s a chain stitch. The “arrow” side is the front of chain and the flat “purl’ side is the back. Correct...pull the back and zip, it’s done!
