I gotta do this. I’m almost 74 years old. I always love the doors kind of pulled away from them over the years and now here I am after a couple of Jack Cokes and I’ll tell you what we need Jim Morrison back in the world because his music would calm down somebody’s idiots out there, God bless you Jim rest in peace. We love you.

I wish that Rothschild had the courage to put that on the one side of the album. It would have been a reach, but it would have been a hit in the long term perspective. I realize it would have been scary back then, but if he had some perspective, he would have presented something that was never done before. It might have have fallen flat in 1968, but overtime, it would have redeemed itself.

This is one of my most memorable albums as a young child,i always listened to Morrison and felt a sort of connection to his poetry, and he was a true inspiration to me,and i still wish to this day he could have made his own music or films, and his true love was writing..

To think Jim Morrison never had any formal vocal training and naturally sings a gem as good as the likes of Elvis and Sinatra. The talent of this man and this whole band is so incredibly unimaginable. They created their own sound and niche in the music industry and sound just as good in 2024 as in 1969 and this album is a testament to that, while hard to put together, band tensions and the unpredictable nature of Jim they were able to create a masterpiece that unfortunately and erroneously goes down as their weakest record of all records with Jim Morrison ✌🏽♥️
