Another thing about the power steering on the 300 & 400 is the air control valve has gaskets inside of it that get brittle with age & that will cause power steering to get sucked up into the intake & burn. If there is an issue with the power steering on this car, just know you might end up having to rebuild the entire system. If its not your high pressure hose, it might be your rack, if its not your rack, it could be your air control valve, if its not your air control valve it could be your low pressure line & it just... gets frustrating

In 30 years……When have Mazda ever used the name “Miata”
@philzvids3577Ай бұрын
No it isn't. Sorry. It's very good, but as with all cars, it isn't perfect. It does have a large number of plus points however. It absolutely isn't the best car ever made (I have owned several that were better), but it is one of the best cars available in today's market, where you have to balance not just performance and handling, but costs to run. I have a 2023 2.0 184 ND2 and it is very good, but not perfect. I checked out the latest model which has ironed out a couple of things that needed sorting, but let's not get too carried away. In the UK a brand new one of these with the 2.0 engine and all the trim is £35K which is a massive amount of money for a 2-seater small sports car. The greatest cars ever made? Well my Alfa 3.2 GT was more fun to drive but of course only did 25 MPG instead of the 40 MPG that I get from my ND2. Road tax is also a fraction of the price on the ND. But best car ever made? That's a silly title.

I am from Russia and we have a lot of mark ll/chasers, these are the most popular jdm cars in our country. This happened because in the 90s a lot of cars from Japan came to Russia because they were cheap and of high quality, much better than our Lada. Most of these cars were mark ll/chasers. After drift became very popular in Russia in the 2000s, these cars became popular because they were cheaper than supras or skylines, and to this day there are a lot of them on the roads. I don't live in the biggest city, but there are about 10 of them here.
@hiiogАй бұрын
Yes, almost all of these are regular versions, but tourers are sometimes found

i think the cresta and mark II are more underrated compared to the chaser even tho they are essentially the same
@cold.shoulderАй бұрын
I'm from Russia, and it's wild to see such a rare car for America, I honestly thought that specifically chasers you can never meet there. I can only imagine how expensive this car there. In Russia, especially in Siberia, they are still literally on almost every corner, but of course more of them are regular versions with 2.5 engines. Great video. I'm literally kinda shocked rn, he must be getting all the attention on the road.😂

@Ser-q3uАй бұрын
Chaser, mark11, verosa, cresta, all Toyota inline 6, with room for a big turbo. Also with the popular Beams engine. In my country we import a lot, mostly for drag races. Here if you got one you're considered cool. Suriname/guyane
@tunaSalsaАй бұрын
beams is only great if you don't plan to mod it. It's parts are too engine specific and doesn't share with any other engine

I am 53 years old, I"ve been into cars since I was 10. My first car was a 1985 RX7. Since then I've owned many great cars including an E39 M5, Mustang LX5.0, 1998 Pontiac Formula with the LS1, Buick Grand National...the list goes on. But none of them have been as much fun as my current 2016 Miata Club. And it's not even close.
