Here is a big chunk of whats in my contract, what do you think? The client(s) understand that due to the artistic nature of this photography service, that there is no guarantee that the client(s) will find 100% of the photographs artistically pleasing, which in such case will not entitle the client(s) to any discounts or refunds. The photographer will to the best of his ability deliver photographs that will be in his own judgment artistically pleasing. The client(s) understand that factors outside of the photographer’s control may occur that can affect the artistic look of the photographs such as weather conditions, time of day, event location, event rules, event lighting, participation of the subjects of photographs, and amount of time given to the photographer. The client(s) understand that there is no promised specific amount of finished photographs as the final quantity varies based on the length of time of the event and number of guests. For example a 2 hour event could yield 90 photographs and a 12 hour event could yield 540 however the amount could be higher or lower. The client(s) understand that no digital raw files (unedited photographs) are released, and only edited photographs that the photographer has judged worthy of being been seen are released.

I'm beginning to think Canva is a scam. If you can't sell the things you create on Canva then what's the point? It's basically a tool for drawing doodles online.

Thank you for making this video! I have a question: What is the benefit of having a business bank account over just opening a second personal checking and a second personal credit card for all my business expenses? And I simply use those for all my business needs. Why do I even need a "business" bank account as many suggested on KZbin. I'm a sole proprietor. It seems to me that it solves all 3 problems that you mentioned. What am I missing?

My personal opinion is she has buyers remorse about what she paid. In her videos she said she sat on them for a MONTH. Then said that she was looking and looking and looking at them and started nit picking at them. I think she wanted money back and figured that she could manipulate and “force” the photographer to give her what she wanted. Her photos are in line with the photographers work online. I personally don’t like the sepia filter and prefer a true to color editing. I am on the photographers side. Bride was acting entitled and in my opinion had such a negative air about her. There’s just something off about her that rubs me the wrong way.

The edits were horrendous, and I would have been unhappy with the photos. I appreciate the professional photographers who weren't afraid to give their honest opinion on her amateur edits. This isn't one of those videos so it wasn't as informative as I would have liked and preferred the commentary of other you tube channels.

I cannot find anything about the use of free Canva elements by the US Government. I make pamphlets, printouts, etc. for a leader development course that I teach as a federal government employee to other government employees. I am not selling it, but it is something that the government plans to use internally on training materials (and not sell). Is this allowed? It is so hard to figure out and because I work for the government and we need to make sure we're following the law to the letter!

The bride was a witch! The photographer has limited editing skills. Either she was too lazy to edit using masks rather than doing global adjustments resulting in a dingy looking white wedding dress and yellow teeth, and applies a lame "golden" pre-set to every image, or she has no idea how to edit properly. For $8,000, all that editing should be included. The bride was a nightmare bridezillza client.

The client was more than happy to receive the original files, pay for them and move on. Clearly, the photographer with her massive boss babe ego thought it'd be funny to ask for another $4k after the client already paid her $8k for said files. Clearly this photographer is not someone any bride should be collaborating with. Plain and simple, if she can't bother to keep this one client happy, nip the situation in the butt quickly and move on, what hope do her future clients have?

Nice presentation of Canva legal issues. Custom design is always better. So create your own design using Affinity or Photoshop or some other graphics program then upload to Canva. Then use your personal design to create a unique item to sell. I think this is better then using Canva's graphics and you don't have to worry about someone outright stealing your concept as easily which is a huge problem with Etsy. Now that Etsy has gone full AI, people can now steal your design with the greatest of ease. You need to integrate more in your design or get a Trade Mark which is expensive because copyright isn't going to do it in my opinion.
