Layers are recommended. Depending on the time of year, it can be pretty cool in the at night and in the morning and warmer during the day.

We were hanging out on a beach on Choctawhatchee bay and had a black bear walk up next to us. My buddy and I were just looking out at the water drinking a beer when I looked over and he was just right next to us looking out at the water too. We calmly moved around the other side of the boat to put it between us. He was very shy and kept backing off and approaching us like a timid dog. Eventually he made his way further down the beach and we saw him swimming. Was pretty cool. We did get a clip of it towards the end when I told him to GIT and he ran off. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fILNoYF9rK57gK8

Tough hike for someone who is not used to doing inclines like this BUT totally worth it and my boyfriend and I felt so proud of ourselves. Bring a bag with a sandwich and some waters though, it’s almost a 6 mile round trip. 3 straight up the mountain to the STUNNING waterfall. Worth it. 100%. We did this randomly with nothing but one bottle of water and I had left my ADHD meds at home on accident before our trip so I was going through med withdrawal the whole trip too, but we did it and I’ve never felt so proud and in awe. Just do it. 100000/10 ❤ Photos do NOT do this waterfall justice, it’s so much larger in person.

We’re so comfortable not being in mortal danger all the time that we now have to be told, by another adult, not to approach bears. 😂 that’s actually insane.
