Okay, that was very much how my first experience was trying to get out of the chest piece, have you found a better method for removal since then? 😅

Wearing a tee-shirt putting baby powder underneath is essential. But the method that I found online for getting out of it yourself is to bend your arm at the elbow and then try and squeeze your bent arm through the armhole (which is the method I used to finally get out of the vest at the end of the video!) I was worried about it tearing but so far it's held up pretty well! Hope this helps!
