Never been a fan of the 1 tonners because the decks usually look like after thoughts, however, I would have to say that deck really suits Belle. Your Uncle and yourself have made an awesome ute. Well done.

Been collecting parts to do an engine swap soonish. The way the post is right now I just haven’t had a lot to share at the moment.

Some Holden History there, the Ford Dealership in Orange were the Dealership that Sold the Brand New Nov 1973 XB GT Ford Coupe that went onto become the Mad Max Interceptor Coupe.

Well done. Great video. Love your ute and your dog. I've photographed the old Peak Hill dealership several times on my trips down from Queensland. Did you see the car junkyard on the main street too? I was told it is owned by the same family. Last time I was down there in 2019 there were signs of life inside the dealership building. There was a very beautiful vintage Vincent motorcycle visible through the window that someone had been working on. See my photos on Instagram at blacktop_photography_oz.

That's not an EH, judging from the video's thumbnail image, and at 2:17 the side view. The EH, EJ and EK car body designs were based on the FB design of 1960 or thereabouts. This ute looks more like one of the early-to-mid-1970s Kingswood body configurations(utility/Panel Van/Station Wagon/Saloon).

Hey Neil, The Green Ute in the video at 2:17 was my WB ute with a HZ front out the front of Canobolas Holden located in Orange NSW. I was showing where I used to work. Then I drove a couple of hours from there to Peak Hill to find the EH's and EJ's that are untouched in the show room around 13:57 of the video. Cheers

The EJ and EH we're not based on the FB.

@@Rob-fc9wg I've seen enough of them to know they were indeed modelled on the FB. I've seen a photo of an FB sedan and the EH, EJ and EK could easily be mistaken for an FB.

@@neilforbes416 The EK was a facelifted FB. The EH was a facelifted EJ. The FB and EK looked nothing like the EJ and EH.
