Lovely.. Why have I not herd about this before. Your style somehow reminds me of Philip Bayer.. never the less.. you can see its WSL all the way through. To bad this wing chun style is not taught here in Sweden. I feel its un furtunate that the wing chun now days dont emphisize on real fighting, in reality its only defens against its own style which is sad. Wsl however is in my meaning one of those linages that emphizes on the art of fighting. Even though I feel that it could be more functional if the style it self had some hooks and slips and jabs.. I think it could make so much more damage, but thats just my take on it. I know that WSL lost against a Mua thai fighter and I think it could be an idea to mix it in same with wrestling or BJJ

that's what i love about martial arts: deep understanding about technique is about a matter of an inch or two, a few degrees, a fraction of a second. there's so much to play with for the rest of one's life!

What a pleasant surprise to see this. I was one of Sifu Leung's students at this time and was at this demonstration also. As a matter of fact myself, Dominic and Simon started learning from Sifu in his basement and then later helped him start his school. It has been many years - I miss Sifu and the endless chi sau. i try to explain that to my students all the time. that your center line is very important. when they hit the focus pads, their body just stays center to the person, not the focus pads. any advice on how to explain that concept to 13-15 year olds?
