You made great material. The only thing missing is a mocking scene from the cult comedy Miś.

Very nice overview of Lisbon. Just spent 7 days and now I want to return with areas you mentioned. Thanks for pointing out the tile museum, which I found informative and a way to learn about the culture. I would also add the Maritime Museum to learn about the history of Portuguese exploration.

I’ve been to Croatia a number of times. The people are friendly, the food is great and the wine is excellent. What impressed me most about the food was how fresh everything was. It’s like the vegetables just came from the garden and the fish fresh from the sea.

Hi there, we appreciate the interest but unfortunately we are a travel company, not a language school. If you even need help planning a trip to Croatia, our experts would be delighted to assist, but as for language learning, we can’t help more than these little videos. We wish you the best of luck on your language journey!

Very nice Hamburg video. When you´ve been at tower of the St. Michaelis church, have you been inside too? Sooooo beautiful. Also the Blankenese "Treppenviertel" (Stairs Quarter) is definitely worth a visit.

BRUTALIST??? Technisches Rathaus was a lot, especially asbestos-ridden, but BRUTALIST is a label that is incredibly offensive!! Just because it was functionalist and didn’t please the tourists‘ eyes (and those of the people who would prefer to live under a kaiser…) like the pseudo-historicist fairytale-romantic, dysfunctional and insanely expensive kitsch they‘ve built in its place, that didn’t make the building „brutalist“!!! 😡
@nickw122621 күн бұрын
brutalist does sounds like a bad thing. i was puzzled when i learned about this for the first time. “brutalism” is an architecture aesthetic terms, and man some of the brutalist buildings are the most amazing buildings i have seen

Will I get by with appropriating Äiti, terve, tänään, paljon from Finnish 😂 (just joking, but the phonetic similarity really struck me!) - FYI anyone reading who doesn't speak Finnish, these sound similar but mean totally different things 😅

Hi there! Frankfurt is a very cosmopolitan city where many nationalities meet so you should have no problem getting by with just English. Especially around tourism-related activities (the ones showcased in this video, for example). We would obviously always encourage booking your trip to Frankfurt, or Europe in general, with JayWay Travel :) as we will take all the hassle out of the planning, booking and even on-the-ground traveling. More information here: jaywaytravel.com/germany/frankfurt Happy traveling!

True, Frankfurt deserves better as it’s often labeled. If you take the entire area ("Rhein-Main Gebiet") into account it gets even better as it contains the Taunus-, Odenwald-, Spessart mountains, cities like Bad Homburg, Wiesbaden, Mainz, … the famous river trips down the Rhine etc pp Have a nice trip 🙃

Thank you! That was really fun! I leave for Greece in two weeks. I will be looking at this and other videos everyday. I know, I know, I should have started months ago. Greek is so intimidating. I'll keep trying.
