Nice method. It's sweet you milk together. I used that exact strainer when I started out. Does your cow drop production and dry off early? I know that can be an issue with mini Jerseys.

I am west coast. At age 17 I attended a camp in Ohio. They taught me botany and though they had very interesting plants, it was sassafras that I fell in love with. I want to plants some here!

@aprilp1095 Thanks so much! This bread looks awesome. I have not used sourdough in over 30 yrs, I use yeast. I have never had an issue with yeast. I just thought I would expand my baking skills & change up the taste. I do enjoy making my own pizza dough. Happy baking!

Once you cook cocowa powder, it's no longer raw, and now it's coco powder. You just lost all the nutritional value you payed extra for.

Flashy and catchy can be honest and simple especially seeing how most people can’t afford to homestead or be afforded the time to homeschool.

Did you AI your cow or a vet? Also may I ask the cost of the mini Jersey? Lastly, I may be wrong but I thought cows were a herd animal and needed a partner to keep them happy.

The roots and barks of the sassafras tree contain a high concentration of the chemical named safrole. Safrole was listed as a carcinogen in rats by the FDA and is hence banned at present. The leaves are not toxic (grind it up and it's called file which is a good thickener for soups and gumbo...

I believe I used lavender, and maybe tea tree... I avoided peppermint for that specific one since we already were using Uddermint for some applications.
