When i was in middle school- 6 years ago, drinking and smoking were already common. It's not surprising that this happened, but it's sad that these schools don't really do anything to inform these kids of the dangers and steer them away from alcohol and drugs.

I wanted to add something here. A lot of people think a lot of things about my home state. Tennessee. Yes, the state joined the confederacy. But, the entire state, obviously, did not want to do this. The center to western parts of the state were usually pro-slavery. That’s because they had the large, more flat, land for their farms.
