Use the nerd goggles for Hord night because they give you a tonne of XP. And you have to add corner stairs to the entrance of your staircase that’s why they keep hitting your staircase. They can’t get up.

Digging for treasure is counted as mining so you need the mining outfit to reduce stamina

You still need to put the quarter staircase on the bottom of your steps on each side and another normal staircase next to that one so it wraps around the bottom of your staircase that way they shouldn’t hit the bottom

You definitely need the staircases that wrap around at the bottom so they can get up. I think the reason they’re not all going straight for your staircase is because they cannot get up. Make sure there are no ledges next to your fighting position window and maybe put a scaffolding ladder so they can’t jump over the top of your hatch

During Horde night you should use your nerd glasses they will give you a tonne of XP. And the treasure hunting mod put in your hat only helps when you’re using a treasure map and digging for buried treasure .
