I miss the luau. I worked an overnight shift 2 summers ago watching the monorail beams (for safety) during sidewalk construction from the luau to the Wedding Pavilion, and I hung out in the empty luau during break. There was sign removed from the wall sitting in the sound booth that I wanted to bring home with me, but I figured I was probably being watched by security cameras. After it closed for good I bought a chair from the Spirit of Aloha at our Cast Member store. They had the tables for sale too, with the metal leaf bread holders in the middle, but it wouldn't fit in my crossover vehicle. Good memories. I proposed to wife after the luau, back in 2000.
