To follow up with this, my NEW strategy is to (for the most part), shut off technology after the sun goes down. I found the main benefit was the improved sleep and mental clarity in life was gained during those late night hours winding down rather than being on social media. Having a chance to breathe and have some thoughts to myself.

I just quit all social media, turned off my phone, and tried to spend my day doing something else. But I noticed that my brain craved new information and kept thinking about something... It was difficult to control my thoughts, but at one moment, all my thoughts calmed down, and I felt a kind of freedom from myself. I'm really glad to hear that you're going to start meditating. I can also recommend trying gratitude affirmations-when you express thankfulness for everything you have and just love everyone and everything.

1st. One of THE BEST experiences of my life is when I had no access to ANY technology for 30 days. I was deeply connected with people and it was just truly life changing I mean that from the bottom of my heart. And having good friends makes life so much better! I was literally just reminiscing on all my wonderful friendships I've accrued throughout my life. 🙏🏼
