The video has an error - CaCO3 is formed, not CaO3. The video doesn't mention it, but the thin cylinder at the end with a flame in it is the lime kiln.

First the calcium of CaO swallowed another oxygen which was never seen again. After a few more magical steps of transmutation and semiannihilation we ended with CaO3. Yeah, that makes perfect sense.
